Even though it's bad to judge you according to the others, it's usually not worth the risk, therefore I propose that we put your character on a little "Trial" to see can you really put up with using that power without getting everyone pissed.

I'm not going to use her ability all the time, rather she will only really use her power when she's pissed at you or she wants something. The emotional aspect isn't godly extreme either, the feelings aren't always in a romantic way, rather she can make you love her as a sibling or something of the like, and if she's caught using her powers for selfish reasons which she can't justify (Like she delibrately touched someone) she would be in a great amount of trouble since she has been sent to Sylvan Academy to 'reform'. Also, if you touch her, her powers will come into play. She can't exactly control them just yet. But if you have a strong enough will you can resist her, and her power fades on the person after a while. If you have touched her you can get her power taken off you, but it takes ritual to do that. She can't perform her ability unless she is touching, so she can't incant a spell or anything like that. She's just human if you don't touch her.
