Difference: I have 1.7 billion not 1.3 billion like modern day China has. My China is a place that modernized in 1900 under the Guangxu Emperor much like the Meiji Restoration in Japan. Subsequently it never suffered the ravages of Communism and instead stayed one of the wealthiest nations in the world as China had been for millenia.

China only has 1.3 billion because one of the communist dictators (I forgot whom) passed a law saying all women must have... I think three children, maybe more, that's why the nation is just now developing, it suffered from overpopulation, a modernized China wouldn't have more people, but DRAMATICALLY less people.

And China was wealthier and more advanced than Europe between the fall of the Western Roman Empire and the 17the century. The reason the Opium Wars happened was because China was creating too much of a trade imbalance regarding silver so Europeans/British started selling Opium large-scale to regain their silver.

Before you tell me what is right and wrong about China, learn more about it first. In truth there were only two Communist "dictators" in China. You are referring to the one child policy. My emperor instituted the same thing. Second, we did not have a civil war nor a mass starvation. Since we formed a modern economy so much more efficiently than Mao, we continued to grow in both wealth and population. Please explain where I am being unrealistic?
