The arresting of diplomats by this new regime probably wasn't the best move to avoid internation outlash.

While under any other circumstances the World Council will be convened, the Lancearcic military's bulk of forces was simply turned towards the Mavrovlachian border. With their supporting of the fallen Nazi regime, they didnt even need a reason beyond that and their delegation being arrested to march into the nation.

The nation wasn't much, really. Their tanks rolling across the grasses--now, they had equipped all of their armored vehicles with 360 degree rotating turrets--we're the spearheads of attacks all across the country, ensuring that their infantry met with little resistance.

The plans for passenger jets to carry heavy cargo such as passengers and trading materials is further developed by the empire into being able to carry a much larger number of bombs, and the first strategic bombers were being produced, capable of unleashing hundreds of thousands of pounds if ordnance on long-range targets.

The Lancearcic ground forces had by then halted outside of the city, besieging it with little resistance save for the occasional skirmish with the defenders for the moment.

The reason they had stopped for now had soon become very clear, a large formation of the much improved bombers could be spotted in the distance overhead, escorted by fighters to ensure the larger aircraft were not easier targets to aircraft engagement.

The defenders, with their morale crushed by the sight of the aircraft, collapse. They abandon their positions and retreat to the much more fortified city of Brasov while the Archibishop is still in the Cathedral of Bucharest, praying for a god's sign.

They had also found that cars with a round frame worked better due to less wind resistance. Berlin, since Hannibal had ran off, had taken charge.

The retreating force now begins to break up, as the bombs that are dropped wipe out around half of them.

With the falling bombs now stopped the Lancearcic soldiers stormed into the city, sweeping the streets for wounded and dead, bringing with them many medical teams who set up in the center of the city. Upon spotting Alexandru the soldiers jogged to him and assisted him to his feet.
