So, a diplomat was dispatched to the nation in short order to discuss just that.

The diplomat wasted no time when Saur had arrived. "While I'd love to swap pleasantries with you I must be frank in this statement. As you know, the world isn't the most stable of places at the moment, especially with militant nations running about the earth as they please. This new generator of warfare lets armies be anywhere in a matter of hours, with rapid mobilization. Where there is protection from such things though, and where there is a stable economy and living conditions for every citizen regardless of race, the world is perhaps much improved over the past." the man paused slightly here. "As I'm certain you're aware your people hold the empire in high regard these days, and I have been sent in wake of that revelation. The terms I present to you are simple, and benefit both parties greatly." the man said, taking a breath. "We extend an offer to Sauritican to formally join the Grand United Empire as a full member, with unrestricted trade to each member nation, the support of joint GUE forces in war and their protection in peace, and perhaps most importantly a say in any major decisions affecting the entirety of the empire." the diplomat concluded.

"With the approval rating being at an all time high there will be no better opportunity to join the empire than now, and we do hope you accept."
