Doppelgänger Morphing- Blaine can shape shift and take on the appearance of anyone; not only that, but he talks like them, has their same DNA, and fingerprint. That being said, he can not copy their powers.
Pain Manipulation- He can also cause people to feel immense, unbearable pain at the drop of the hat. This ability can cause the person the feel such a searing pain, that they fall unconscious.
Very Skilled at Hand-to-Hand Combat
Personality: Blaine is ruthless, ambitious, and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. However. he is very insecure and has deep seated low self esteem. He never lets anyone see this though because he views it as weak and hates nothing more than when people pity him.
Backstory: He was born into a life of privilege and luxury. The Penta family belongs to New Paris's prestigious noble class and rules over one of the Districts (aka. states) in the nation. As such, he has lead a public life since birth and has grown to base his entire self worth on what others think of him. When his mom died when he was 10, his father withdrew into a deep, awful depression and turned to alcohol. Rather than see his family's reputation go to shambles, he devised a cunning plan. Blaine secretly enrolled his father into rehab and then shape shifted into him. Posing as his father, he ruled over the District and over saw 4 years of steady growth. Then, his father came home...
His father was grateful, instead of the furious that Blaine had expected and they returned to daily life. Everything was perfect until Trevor came along. Blaine and Trevor had a whirlwind relationship over the course of the next year and it was the first time that he had felt truly comfortable in his own skin. He and Trevor decided to tell Blaine's father about their relationship one night over dinner. If there was one thing his father wasn't it was accepting, he and Blaine got into a screaming match when his father order Trevor to never speak to Blaine again. It wasn't until his father called Blaine a f** that things started to go bad. Blaine flew off the handle; he felt power surging through him and brought his father to his knees screaming in agony. Eventually, his father passed out from the pain and, once he calmed down, Blaine couldn't believe what he had done. He was terrified, he hadn't meant to hurt his father, but he was so mad. Trevor didn't speak to Blaine ever again; all Blaine got was a letter explaining how Trevor never could feel safe around Blaine again now that this power had emerged.
Blaine sulked in his room for days until a messenger came to the door to inform him that he would be attended school at a place called Momentum Academy from now on. He packed, and about to get into the limo when he inquired to the chauffeur if they should wait for his father to say goodbye before they left and the chauffeur informed him that his father didn't wish to speak to him. With a sinking feeling, Blaine climbed into the limo and they took off bound for Momentum Academy. Over the course of the ride, his sadness turned to determination. He WOULD make a name for himself so that his father would never be able to ignore him again.
