I'll keep California covered. Your only enemies would be the brown American nation (can't remember the name) and I'll be able to deal with them should they invade.

Well, I'm from Phil Campbell, Alabama (REALLY southern U.S), though I'm almost sure none of you have heard of it, maybe you've heard of Alabama? We feel ignored a lot.

I went to New Orleans about 5 months before Katrina, I haven't been back since. I've wanted to though, it's an interesting city.

Brief Description of your nation's History:
During the 1950s, Colombia was a small, third-world country. Not standing to see his country fall apart, a 27 year old Colonel Hermosillo organized a coup with the other officers. They successfully carried it out on August 2nd, 1961. For his great leadership in the event, Fernando was promoted to General and put in charge. He spent the first ten years of his reign developing his nation from a poor, forgotten country to a wealthy, well known one. In 1972, General Hermosillo invaded Panama, thus beginning what the Colombians called the "Era de la Conquista," or "Age of Conquest." He expanded through Central America and the Caribbean, finally ending the age in 1984 with the capture of Kingston, Jamaica. After conquering much of the Caribbean area, Hermosillo changed the name of his country to the United States of the West Indies and moved the capital to Cartagena to make it more accessible to the rest of the nation.
Brief Description of your nation's economy:
All citizens are allowed to make businesses and conduct trade.
Brief Description of your nation's government:
The government is run by General Hermosillo, who is also the head of the Military. The Country's provinces and the military forces in them are each run by a general who acts as a governor. Soldiers are highly valued in the West Indies, and it is an honor to be in the Military.

That's kind of why I'm hesitant to go back, I think it just wouldn't be the same. It was such a great place when I went, I wonder how much they've recovered.

What movies do you guys want to see that are soon to be released, or have been released?

I would really like to see The Conjuring. It looks good, and I love to get a good scare every now and then. Plus, the people who made The Haunting in Connecticut made this one too, and I love that movie. So I would really like to see it.

I heard it got good reviews, but I've never liked the horror genre that much.

I want to see Elysium because I loved District Nine and even Blomkamp's short films. Also The Worlds End, because the Wright/Frost/Pegg trio are awesome in everything they make together.

The other day I saw the dvd case for The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia and my mind was blown. I mean, you have Connecticut in the name, you could at least keep it in the state.

Anyways, there are no really good movies I want to see. I went to see Monsters U (because I I was going on a double date, but our dates cancelled, and my friend and I didn't want to see the Superman movie). It sucked. The show began 30 minutes late because they showed a short called "The Blue Umbrella." I left halfway through because my curfew was coming up.

I'd like to watch Grown Ups 2 with my best friend. We already watched the first part around three times, so I'm pretty excited for the new part. Other than that I really wannt to watch the Conjuring because I love horror movies, but I fear I'l lwatch it in the Internet because my friends don't really share this love for horror movies.

Would it be possible to play as a clandestine rebel/resistance group, with the goal of founding a new state? Would like to play a revolutionary Polish resistance group active in ethnically-Polish lands in Germany and Russia.

The USSR player is on vacation, so action against them is a bit discouraged.

I was mainly in the French Quarter, which is beautiful. It's actually to highest elevation in the city, as the rest was built on marsh. I think it's great, I went in March and it was fine... probably A LOT warmer now though... :)
