I think Ill just ally with everyone xD
If I ally with Britain and Germany, and WWI happens.... what the hell do I do? Send soldiers to support both sides? xD

I already have a military mission in Japan and am only looking to expand in Africa, so why can't we be friends?
Sure. But, if a world war breaks out I'll either pick Britain or stay neutral (Sorry, I'm a Brit IRL, I can't help my patriotism xD!)New Sapienta wrote:You'd break both alliances doing that.
So, what you're saying is, If war breaks out, support both sides! Then I break no alliances!
Logic.

Well, currently Germany and Britain aren't enemies.

Briefly describe your Nation's history. After conquering most of Manchuria the Qing conquered invaded Joseon with much less success than in real life. As result the Qing retired the idea of conquering the rest of China and instead stuck with its land in Manchuria and Korea. The royal families of both nations were unified through marriage. A major revolution lead primarily by the Koreans, who lived ruled by the Manchurian minority and were cut off from settlement in Manchuria, in 1754 took a heavy toll on the agricultural lands of Korea- not as bad as the damage done in the Japanese Invasion. The revolt led to the court moving to Pyongyang on the peninsula where most the population lived at the time, and opened up Manchuria to Korean and, to a lesser extent, Chinese settlement. Also because of the revolt urbanization was sped up as many farmers had lost their livelihood. Sinsagug was forcibly open to trade by the United States of Hapsburg in 1824 through gunboat diplomacy, resulting in loss of Mokpo, though Sinsagug was able to modernize rather quickly with Hapsburg help.
Briefly describe your Nation's government. Sinsagug is ruled by an emperor, yet restricted by the unicameral legislature, elected by the people. The government is centralized with a ruling, land owning aristocrat class and a growing middle class fueled by international trade.
Briefly describe your Nation's economic system. Sinsagug is capitalist with some trade restrictions for unfriendly nations but most nations that trade with me have very little to no tariffs and restrictions. Sinsagug has an economy centered a lot on large multi industry conglomerates that in whole are involved in many industries.
RP Example: Have none but not a great power so is it okay? I could just start my rp portfolio with this.

Well Japan has been trading with Europe since the 1540s, they just closed themselves off and didn't open up again until the Americans forced them to in the 1850s

Okay, so would it be plausible for us to not close ourselves off? Or is that a far too early POD with too many butterflies? I'm gonna assume so.
I'd guess it'd make the most sense for Hapsburg to discover us, what year?
