Will do soon, but basically involves a more totalitarian, unpopular monarchy which kept the Spanish Empire in Europe together during the 18th century, which led to a socialist revolt in the early 19th century.

We could ally together. The only threat to our colonies is Spain, it having surrounded our region in the Congo. Other wise I don't see any other bad spots, maybe France if they dispute our land in the south Vietnam, since Germany and Bulgaria might ally with us and was thinking a non aggression pact with Russia.

However the last century has seen the old power slowly slip from superpower to a minor power with its largest colony Brazil gaining independence and stagnation has gripped the Iberian peninsula. Portugal is very keen to hold to its current possessions and to carve out its name on the global stage again.

Briefly describe your Nation's history. Rather than being conquered by Arabian hordes, The Byzantine Empire survived much of the Islamic tribes attacks. It did eventually fall, however, and from the ashes came the Kingdom of Anatolia. The city of Troy was rebuilt during the medieval era, with powerful walls to help defend against any attacks. From that city, the Kingdom expanded, conquering Turkey and Greece. The Kingdom played an integral part in the Renaissance, and much of the world's inventions came from Anatolia. Being the entrypoint to Europe for the Turks, the military was constantly on watch. In the 1600s, the Kingdom was ruthlessly attacked by tribes. What was worse, the line of royalty ended when the King Olos XII died in battle. The country fell into chaos for almost 30 years, when the Andros family took control of the throne.

After king Andros took the Anatolian throne, he led a massive conquest into the Middle East. The first King Andros united Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, and Israel (Syria was later lost to the French). The intergration was brutal, as the King led a genocide against Muslims.

During the period of colonization, Anatolia did as the other nations did. It expanded into Egypt and Sudan, conquering much of Northern Africa. It was late to the New World, but the relatively small nation managed to colonize all of Brazil. However, Much of Brazil revolted in 1803. Anatolia lost some of the most valuable land in South America, but it managed to keep a large portion. Anatolia was late to colonize the East Indies, only reaching the pacific in the early 19th century.

Much of its economy is based on the exports from its large colonies in South America and Africa, and the West Indies brings in a lot of money, along with a chance to expand into Asia.
