Reproduction Method: They do not reproduce, but do spread parasites whom they foster as "children," though they will never become a Aetheris
Species Description: An ancient species, of ageless tentacles masses. One could describe them as "squid-like," though they are of titatinic size. Their "bodies" are around the size if a dreadnought, with masses of tentacles following it. This ancient race holds the scars, and marks of battles throughout history. Each "god" carries a massive number of parasites, within a cavity of their body. Upon the release of this opening, millions of parasites pour into the world or ship, or whichever the Aetheris is targeting.
Racial Biography: This ancient race of beings, has survived an undocumented amount of time. Only 12 remain, and it is unknown the how many lived long ago. They have spent eons in isolation, rarely contacting other races, and many times isolated from eachother, though they retain a psychic link to one another. They have for eons consideres themselves gods, and are worshipped by many of the less advanced planets. Though, many of these planets have felt the scourge of their parasites, which attach themselves to your person, forcing you under the command of the Aetheris. The Aetheris consider these afflicted their "children", and use them to bend the will of the nonbelievers. Despite this seemingly war-like nature, the Aetheris are a largely wise people, and consider themselves above such petty conflicts, though occasionally the foolish "lesser" races force their hand.

They have come out of isolation, gone for eons, not a noise heard from them. Many believed thy had been destroyed with the Destined. They now return for an unknown reason, though they know very little of the current state of the world. They now roam the universe, looking to better understand this bizzare new place.

Aww,but ti is such a good idea.The race I am thinking of is sorta like the reapers.Basically,huge robots,around the size of your guys,or bigger,who "infect" people with nano's,and basically turn them into cyborgs.Basically,a machine cult.Thye would look liek this.
