Species Description: The Hashia are humanoid avian creatures, and are covered in colourful feathers which coagulate in large crests on the back of their heads and elbows. These feathers come in a variety of colours, being harsh and threatening in males, and seductively attractive in females. Chicks are covered in a grey down. Males have beaks which are thick, sharp and strong, which they use for fighting and hunting. They are also well built in their bone structures due to years of war and living in their harsh jungle homeworld. Females have more slender beaks and feminine body structures for childbearing and remaining nimble on their feet.

Racial Biography: They divide themselves into various tribal factions, living in great tree cities, which have existed for millennia. As time went on and more effective weapons were developed, namely chemical weapons and gunpowder, the most prominent tribes elected a Holy Emperor to act as a mediator in all conflicts. The HE is an elected member of a tribe, and received a dowry of cash and men from all tribes under his rules, from which he makes his own armies and holds. The Emperor has the power to call crusades, excommunicate unruly tribes, embargo good and technologies, and later, to assign land on other celestial bodies for the greatest tribes to populate. Nothing worth mentioning happens on the planet without the Holy Emperor knowing about it.

As a warrior race, they have taken great pride in their military history. All soldiers are trained to use spears similar to that of the combi-stick in the Predator series, as well as kinetic rifles. They excel in air combat as well, and their starfighters are some of the best ever seen in the galaxy. Their starships make use of strong magnetics and gravitational manipulation to catch enemy ships at a distance, then while bombarding them with kinetic weapons, they accelerate while pulling the caught ship towards them, using a heavy targe to crash through the enemy ship like an ancient Greek trireme.
Other Info: The primary reasons for their ascent to the stars was the dream of the latest dynasty of Holy Emperors, to find a common enemy and unite their people.
