Rhaegar + Lyanna = Jon.
Arya is said to look like Lyanna, and Jon looks like her. He's a bastard, picked up in the war. Ned had to make Lyanna some promise...

This explains it better.
What hinders me is that it's completely unnecessary. Jon wouldn't abandon his post to become Lord of Winterfell, why would he then try to become King of Westeros. Unless of course he becomes a) Dany's spouse (forbidden by his vows), b) rides one of her dragons (y'know family and stuff) or c) being a Targaryen gives him more resistance to the magic of the Others.

How can you read Joe Abercrombie and be nearly cry at the Red Wedding have you read some of Glotka's chapters.
Because Robb was nearly the only nice guy remaining.
And yeah, I read Glokta's chapters. (But I only read the first book, remember?). Nothing particularily moving...
By the way, when Folcar died in Best Served Cold, I was rather moved as well. I thought he would live, and then Shivers moved in and... fucker.

It's all 3 of them, so GRRM can make it seem like everything is going to be nice and happy like everyone wants it to be, before he writes as the last line of the series 'a crossbow bolt pierced Dany's forehead.'

I guess yeah I felt so bad when Robb died he was the one I thought would win and as a Stark fan I really wanted him too but now since I don't really have any one to support and have found my self actually liking the Lannisters well only Jaime and Tyrion.
I thought you were talking about graphic content so I compared it to Glotka man he is heartless.
The one I got the most upset about in the whole series was the Union General in Heroes the one that was Jezal's friend because even though he was a fool he had been there through the whole series and gave all for the Union.

Damn sadist. Though I always figured something was fishy about such an obese guy writing such outrageous sex scenes...

Why? It is a Game of Thrones after all. Baelish just knows how to play. Ned was, frankly, an idiot. He was brave, but he was in the end an idiot. Had he seized power with Renly he would still be alive.
Ned was trusting. Thought other people would play by the rules. He was just too nice.
Tyrion knows how to play. Baelish is a douche.

It's a well known fact that the big girls do way more stuff.
Is it possible that it works vice versa as well, and just now we few have figured this out?Sealord Laerio Grynsell wrote:

"You're a good man."
"That's nothing! You're a hero!"
"That means little. Good men are rare. Heroes are forged wherever the war is."
It wasn't exactly like that, but it still moved me.
To quote prince Calder: he hadn't thought much about himself. Turned out he was a sentimental prick.
