They look good, but Cedric's speed and strength are very overpowered...

Well his speed has been highly dropped from the last game. Before I was estimating his very top speed at around 1 mile per second, so 35 meters per second is a lot slower. Also, he isn't fast enough for it to really apply to combat as much, so he can't, say, punch someone 18 times in a second or pull out his blade and cut a bullet in half like he could before.

I can offer James' evil father, Julius Hathawell as an antagonist. He'd still be in power at this time. Julius is a corporate tycoon who does anything to increase profits. Foil his plan to release a deadly virus in "major US city" and conveiniently have the cure for it too.

Im kinda taking the idea from V for Vendetta. Lets pick a city, say New York. There is a lot of disappearances of random people. These people are being taken to secret facilities to be experimented on. The purpose, develop a new, deadly and fast spreading pathogen that seems natural as well as the cure/vaccine for it.

Julius Hathawell intends to release the pathogen on New York. The epidemic would cause a nationwide panic, perhaps global. Then Julius and his company would make an enormous amount of money selling the vaccine/cure.

Just throwing it out there.
