Ok, I checked for myself and discovered mercury ammo in 1902 is highly unstable, meaning it has 1 chances on 3 to explode inside your cannon; Also the explosion of the bullet would happen 1.5 second after the activation, meaning you practically sent a fire ball towards us.

PORCA PESTE! I missed a chance to do it with Grimaldi!!!

Well, too late now, it seems Grimaldi would not get arrested for desertion.

My character shaped the shell using mercury, with his powers.

...he's not using a cannon.

God, why do the posts keep pouring when I'm away...

Firstaria wrote:Ok, I'm not an expert of Airship fighting (Also because I cannot seems to avoid thinking with Jets, that would make dreadnoughts completely obsolete) But I have an idea how to face the emergency.

I need however some OP info:

  • I assume the Dreadnoughts have some from of bombing or deep charges that works as open hatch method, right?
  • I assume the Dreadnoughts are reinforced below and a lot less above as common sense would dictate, right?
  • I assume that when you said 'Sub-Dreadnought' it works like a sub, with the rules of it, right?
  • I assume there is a way to get out of this situation without dying horribly, right?
  • I assume the Bristol is way bigger and bulkier than the Palermo, right?

  • Yes, they can pour depth charges. Older ones actually use the normal depth charge dispenser on the decks, but it's as accurate as it sounds. More advanced ships like the Bristol would use the open hatch method.
  • Given the nature of air combat, more advanced vessels actually need to be reinforced throughout, but most airships are like that, yes.
  • Yes
  •
  • Pretty much.

No need to panic. Just pull the needle out and wait for a healer to come. If not, wait for Chapter 2.

If this post involves the destruction of the bridge in its series of events, I see no problem in 'going back in time' a bit and describing the events from your character's point of view, where he inevitably survives.

Like those series where you suddenly see a character that you thought had died, and then you see a flashback of what happened from his POV.

Also, Liu Ren took out a dreadnought single-handedly *smug*

All Liu Ren's shot did was beach the Palermo by blasting the steering controls in the bridge. I didn't say Danilo dies, unless I say he dies. Do you want me to say he dies? :<

EDIT: Wait? He was the navigator?

Yeah. I gave him the post occupied by Grimaldi to communicate with the ship and control it.

Could you not hit the bridge? The Palermo will still go down, I assure you, but at least it will give me a chance for me and Grimaldi to get out.

Well, I did state 'knocked out', so just take it he got knocked out (literally). The Palermo didn't blow up, so he'll survive.

Still, very sorry to miss that. There was a LOT of posts to go through.

EDIT:

Well, I can at least let you dive out at the last moment, though I fail to understand why you want to save Grimaldi when he's MY redshirt. :3

Almos is at the hospital, and there is no dreadnought for the Russians to return to. I sank it at the same post as the Cosette.

Actually I'm reading the mercury sphere better and I'm having problem getting where it came from, it almost look (and yes I know it sound stupid and unrealistic, but that's what my brain got) that without looking, you directed it from the bridge of the Bristol to under the Bristol with an epic precision out of this world.

Of course, I know that's impossible.

If you lean over the edge, or if the Palermo is physically wider than the Bristol, ya. In any case, why are you arguing over this. You don't like being sunk? :V

No, just that if she could hit targets she couldn't seen it would be good to know now than later in the RP.

You know, common knowledge. I'm accepting things as they go, even losing something to fit sense and character.
