Ok, I checked for myself and discovered mercury ammo in 1902 is highly unstable, meaning it has 1 chances on 3 to explode inside your cannon; Also the explosion of the bullet would happen 1.5 second after the activation, meaning you practically sent a fire ball towards us.

Ok, I'm not an expert of Airship fighting (Also because I cannot seems to avoid thinking with Jets, that would make dreadnoughts completely obsolete) But I have an idea how to face the emergency.

I need however some OP info:

• I assume the Dreadnoughts have some from of bombing or deep charges that works as open hatch method, right?
• I assume the Dreadnoughts are reinforced below and a lot less above as common sense would dictate, right?
• I assume that when you said 'Sub-Dreadnought' it works like a sub, with the rules of it, right?
• I assume there is a way to get out of this situation without dying horribly, right?
• I assume the Bristol is way bigger and bulkier than the Palermo, right?

• Yes, they can pour depth charges. Older ones actually use the normal depth charge dispenser on the decks, but it's as accurate as it sounds. More advanced ships like the Bristol would use the open hatch method.

Look, I would be fine just ridiculizing the Bristol. Not shooting it down, not harming it, not rescuing it...just going around it like a buzz with a giant, up to the point You-Er screams "piece of shit" and deals damage with magic making the thing go straight into the river, shot down.

Pretty much Italy is not gonna be a white horse for a LONG time in this RP, so I would love to cherish this moments where I can put some signs in the story and also help my PG background, making the dance proving his theories that although they will bring to practically nothing they are correct.

If this post involves the destruction of the bridge in its series of events, I see no problem in 'going back in time' a bit and describing the events from your character's point of view, where he inevitably survives.

Like those series where you suddenly see a character that you thought had died, and then you see a flashback of what happened from his POV.

Well, I did state 'knocked out', so just take it he got knocked out (literally). The Palermo didn't blow up, so he'll survive.
