"Gah, I'm sorry, Chrys. I just suppose that . . . That being called a nuisance wasn't something I wanted to hear, just after he called be a nuisance, and wanted to kill me over it." Bran shrugged. He of all people knew that he always wouldn't hear what he wanted, but to be told it so bluntly was almost a slap in the face.

"I didn't mean to sound angry." He looked down.

Natiya eyed the officer as well, seeing no problem with it, but Tas seemed a bit nervous, or was it just her?

"Problem?"

In the Von Eldritch House,

A sigh came over the intercom to Klaus' inquiry. A low whisper in the background said, "I knew we should have hid in number eight, the one with the castle lab." Then came the actual reply meant for the mob.

"Yes, we are here. I don't suppose a speech about the advantages of raptor superiority over frail humans would change your mind? That didn't work out so well last time." Neil replied over the intercom as a panel opened on the roof to let out an energy weapon turret on the roof that disintegrated the beark, leaving behind only a steaming charred skeletal structure, before it aimed at the general direction of the mob. His voice tired, with a bit of fear, fear of the security of his family. But he hid it well in his emotionless yet honest response.

"I don't intend for history to be repeated, so if I see any of you inside, I'll kill you. Rest assured, we are working on rectifying this critical error, and that there will be no propaganda nor an armed force from another universe, as our alternate universe communications are down. You will$%^be baked--and then*#>there will be cake----" Neil said before static prematurely ended the message from within.

Elsewhere, as Tieria ran, the immobile "lumberjack"-bots sparked but their programming was beginning to clear up of the white noise that clouded their systems. They each had an axe and would be useful in reverse-engineering Raptortech. Save for, malevolent entities awaiting a curious raptor to venture deeper, hidden close to the ground, like hay in a hay stack...only a forest.

Minerva shook herself out. "And there you have it," she said with a shake of her snout. "At least they're not dead. They're working on it. I have field reports, plus the city is frantic so it's all hands on deck for my lads."

She took a few steps towards the door. "If they get it fixed, I'm sure they'll fix the entire town, regardless of where we are. Ta!" She trotted away.

She didn't smile through his philosophic, she thought it might come off as rude and she could see how important the subject was to him. She recounted that she had had a similar experience once when she a teen and again after the war but this was different. This wasn't something he had much less control over and unlike her, he was looking for the right answer no a quick fix like she had. Her skin began to start turning a more human shade of tan but it quickly turned back to a skeletal green when his form shifted. She responded with a quite noise of surprise before saying "Do you want me to get you some clothes?"

"So.... That's it? We're just going to leave without being changed back?" Albert said, a bit annoyed. He had basically been standing on the sidelines of the group the whole time(partly because his user was really tired yesterday, and had homework to do) quietly, as he really had nothing to say about the things that were going on. He was a bit intrigued what the whole thing with the raptor that had run off was, but had basically decided to be silent through it. "We're just going to wait for the raptors to fix this on their own?" He glared over at the thing the raptors appeared to be hiding in.

Albert then sighed, and looked over at Bran and Rylli. "Ugh... whatever.... Hey, Branson, Rylli? I should probably go find Ray and make sure he's not freaking out or something. Would you mind helping me with that? You might be able to help me with finding him and calming him if need be." He tilted his raptor head as his purple eyes looked over the two other raptors. He really hoped they would, because knowing Ray, He'd probably be very pissed about this whole thing. Albert just hoped their room back in Three Tails wasn't destroyed. Last Albert knew, Ray had been sleeping in there.

"Please? I would be very grateful for the help." At that, he looked away slightly. Albert didn't say please often, really. He was more used to usually just asking and it being done. So it spoke quite a bit for his respect for Rylli and Bran. More for Rylli, seeing as she had helped his relationship a short while ago. Bran he thought was a bit annoying, but still quite nice. Plus, seeing as Ray would be working with the mechanic occasionally, Albert thought it best to try and be nice to them.

Although that was a literal answer simplified for the sake of time, he did have a tendency to try to impress people by being philosophical. With the dexterity of a magician preforming slight of hand, Arthur pulled a full matching pair of pants from his jacket pocket.

"That is quite alright, I always carry an extra in the event of an emergency." He explained as he set the pair folded over the back of the chair, as his raptor leg would prove difficult in putting them on.

Urran wrote:Don't you have some helpless child to devour?' Tieria asked Minerva. He wasn't in a tolerable mood. And he had a sudden urge to burn down a village. Maybe it was because he was a raptor? Who knew. He then turned on Bran. "Tick tock, your time is running out. I have no patience for you Branson, I don't expect much from a Human, but you are really wearing on my nerves."

'May I have my papers back sir?" the man in the Kia asked. "And does that building across the street happen to have a restroom?" He really hoped things didn't get ugly, it was against Urranese policy to kill innocent people, the officer was merely doing his job, and he probably had family. Even so, one of the unseen passengers in the back started to screw a silencer onto his Glock 17.

OOC: per this post and ongoing, open discussion with three co-ops in OOC, which came to this conclusion.)

The officer noticed a man in the back that he hadn't seen prior. His companions hadn't identified him. This set off alarm bells, especially as the man was fidgeting. He drew his service pistol and aimed it at the driver, who he had been speaking to. "Unknown occupant in the back, Reggie!" he called to his partner.

"ALL of you, hands where I can see them! Driver! Get out, get out of the car now! Lay on the ground! On your belly!" he barked with weapon trained on the man. He was done fucking around.

Bielefeld police were not soft. They'd received special operations training at a military level after the last Drone invasion. They were well-armed, wore protective gear and carried rounds lethal enough to punch holes in a mech. This officer was no exception. There was a reason petty crime was relatively low in Bielefeld.

His partner also drew his service pistol and aimed it at the vehicle. He radioed in for backup and then began approach from the rear (where the patrol vehicle was), stepping away from the side mirror to avoid detection and using the Sorento's large rear panel blind spot to his advantage. He came at an angle to cover his partner while still remaining somewhat behind.

Meanwhile, not too far away, Thomas listened to the scanner and grinned. The two cultists had kept their eyes on Yuri.

"Think they want our help?" he asked Pete.

The man shrugged. "Don't you think it's odd that two strange, Asian-make vehicles would show up on the same day, with the same blocked out windows, and sit so close to each other in the same small neighborhood? If they want our help, we'll give it. That silly cow is obviously tied to it. She was in their car. We'll let them know that, regardless of how this goes down."

"She's the personification of Urran," Thomas reminded him.

"In that case, she's just turned a petty stop into an international incident."

Meanwhile, the static in Naomi's head caught her attention. Thomas and Pete were on to something. She sighed and put down her dish towel. "Eva, time for lunch, baby girl. Wash up, please." There wasn't any answer.

--

Minerva turned and cocked her head at Albert. She chortled and called back to the group, "Well, they don't want or need our help. They may be insane sons of bitches, but they're very intelligent. If they say they'll fix it, they will." Neil and Gretta could be absolute pains in the ass, but they could be counted on for some things. This was one of those times.

"That seems like kind of a waist.", Katya said, once again popping in. "Still, at least we know now that it will be okay. That's good....so, shall we be on our way?"

She was about ready to get going. She definitely needed a shower when she got home. She also remembered that she heeded to check on her sister.

.....

Meanwhile, Torii knew that she should probably be going. She looked at Rachelle real quick, then gently poked Yoshi to try and wake him.

Yoshi groaned and his eyes flickered open. The boy turned raptor scratched his head with his back leg and looked up at Torii. "Mmm? What time is it?" he asked drowsily. He was tired still, but better rested. luckily, he had cleaned the Nikonor's kitchen before dozing off.

"Not very late. Rachelle's off the walls, though.", Torii shrugged. "I, um...maybe I should go to my room. I want to rest for a little bit."

She got up to stretch her legs, and started strolling around her chair. She felt that she'd spent enough time with these two, though she didn't mind spending more time with them. She still wanted to see her girlfriend...or her sister, or her father, who she fervently wished could come to the apartment sometime.

Yoshi got up to follow after Torii. He didn't want to be left alone with Natiya and Rachelle. It just wouldn't look right in his mind. So decided to go and follow his "little sister" He felt sorry for her. Tsu was never around, which he found pleasant because they didn't like each other very much, or so it seemed, but that hurt Torii so he did wish that she was there, just far away from him.

As any bodyguard did, Chrys continued watching Tieria until he was far enough away that she was certain he was no longer a threat to Bran. Then she glanced sideways toward Bran.

"S'fine! You can insult me every which way and I'll stand there and take it and continue doing my job. I won't like it very much, but I wouldn't leave you in the lurch. That's basically what I said. Not used to this, are you?"

She turned toward the whirring of the energy weapon deploying. "Go!" she snapped, throwing herself into Bran and pushing him toward the house, hoping the cannon couldn't tilt down far enough to hit any one of them. Neil's warning registered, though, in the moment of crystal-clear awareness, and she stopped short of actually going inside. Behind them, Dora shielded Katya with her body, while Luce waved at the others to find cover in the trees.

Natiya eyed the officer as well, seeing no problem with it, but Tas seemed a bit nervous, or was it just her?

"Problem?"

"No, not at all," Tasia smiled pleasantly, showing no sign of nervousness even while the two patrolmen confronted the car's occupants. "But perhaps we shouldn't go any further. That looks serious. How about a private dinner in my apartment?"

She stroked Natiya's back.

As Bran was forced towards the house, he shrieked and dove forward with her, forgetting what she'd been saying a moment before. Rylli dove as well, going with them, diving as well.

"Huh!? What!?" Both of them were saying.

"I guess it does, yeah, hmm. Private dinner eh?" Natiya raised what would be an eyebrow. "Ah, what the hell, sure."

Tieria stormed back into his room and slammed the door behind him, he didn't care that Kei was sleeping. At this point, he didn't care about anything. He went into his dresser drawer and pulled out a revolver and put one round in it. He far had he fallen? He spun it and put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger. CLICK Not today. He stowed it away again.

"Buh-bye!", Torii waved to Rachelle, and watched Yoshi from behind. "If you want, you can come to my room? Ask Aunt Natiya first, though, okay? I'll be going to my room now!"

She quietly left the Nikanor residence, and began walking to her apartment. She still occasionally rubbed her bruised cheek.

Hans began to retrace the yellow footprints as he headed back out again. Klaus followed behind him, content to let Hans get attacked if anything should jump out.

They moved with a purpose, following Minerva's advice. They were wary, however. Minerva had stepped out of time to make her retreat. Klaus and Hans lacked that ability.

"It's just a little sore.",, Torii replied. "Don't worry about it, okay?"

She approached the door and turned the knob. Sure enough, it was unlocked, and she simply walked in. Everything was off and cleaned up, so there was no work to be done. She crashed onto the bed, but groaned a bit at her ribs' pain. Still, it was nothing terrible, and she got comfortable after a minute.

Yoshi followed her inside and went into the kitchen. After a bit he came in with a few bags of ice to put on her bruises. "Here Tora." he said kindly and handed (clawed?) her over the bags filled with the frozen water. He was very concerned for Tora despite the fact that she told him not to be. He sat down at the foot of the bed and wrapped his tail around himself.

"Huh!? What!?" Both of them were saying.

"I guess it does, yeah, hmm. Private dinner eh?" Natiya raised what would be an eyebrow. "Ah, what the hell, sure."

Chrys continued pressing Bran into the wall, pointing toward the scorch mark and charred bones of the beark. "There, that!"

Dora was trying to get Katya to move to the trees, while Luce scanned the area for anyone else.

"Splendid," Tasia rolled out in a rich tone. Her tail crept lower on Natiya as she headed back inside.

"Ey, no grundles!" Natiya shouted playfully, not ready to have Tasia molest her. Of course, she figured her former comrade in arms was just messing around, so Natiya decided to have some fun, let loose, you know? She'd had to deal with Torii, and just a bunch of shit she didn't want to that day, being with her friend would make up for the day, she figured.

Her skin began to start turning a more human shade of tan but it quickly turned back to a skeletal green when his form shifted. She responded with a quite noise of surprise before saying "Do you want me to get you some clothes?"

"Well that was very telling of you, and I'm honored you opened up to me like that" she said as orange flower petals bloomed across her skin. She finished the dish she had been picking away at during the conversation and proposed another question. "So are their any causes your strongly believe in? I personally don't have many besides the whole works of the trapezohedron" she said with a fair does of apathy.

Meanwhile in the lower levels of the Von Eldrch house, Nevvie finished the connections of the communication network. She restored power to the area now that she was safe from electrocution. In their Angry Mob Bunker, Neil and Gretta saw their control systems return to the monitors, several slightly different blue marbles showing graphs and data.

"Finally, release a reverse polarized Telluric wave to match what is recorded as the initial error." Neil ordered as he and Gretta activated the console.

"Or perhaps this is a sign that we should go full steam ahead. We can have the navy lull the masses as we continue to change the world." NVE suggested as he reached for Neil's console.

"No! They will kill us permanently! I do not intend to leave my chicks orphaned just for a shot at having another planet. I almost lost Gretta last time." Neil snapped and bit NVE's claw.

Pulling back NVE snarled, "What are you worried about, the army can destroy gods before they lay a finger on us. everyone else should be a piece of cake to deal with." he argued.

"You work for me remember, and I say the time is not right. Besides, you were supposed to be out there keeping the masses at bay." Neil growled.

"Oh yes, well the crows..." NVE started before Neil grabbed him by the throat and tossed him out the bunker door. With a slam and a click it was locked again, leaving NVE out to deal with anyone still outside the bunker.

In orbital space, the OMTIS reactivated with clearer direction. It released a light blue near invisible wave of energy that was aimed to undo the effects of it's earlier mishap. The city of Bielefeld below was returned to normal, only with a majority of ruined pants from both the shredding of the first change and the browning of pants that followed watching this happen to others. It would be a good day for the pants supplier of Bielefeld, but bad for those who were modest about the lower half of themselves.

Meanwhile wherever Ray was, mere moments after he had returned to normal, a racehorse fell on him from the sky. The impact of the horse broke every bone in both bodied as well as rupture of every major organ leading to internal bleeding. Non an instant death, but a rapid, sudden painful one. Leaving him enough time to reflect on the oddity of the event before he would be temporarily relieved of his mortal coil.

Ogoti was still sitting on the low stone wall when the ray bathed the town. He glanced around to verify that people were restored, and then restored himself.

Meanwhile, Hans realized his toenails weren't clicking anymore. He was wearing only socks instead of his normal boots (they were red), but his uniform had shifted along with him. He turned back to find Chrys and, finding Katya instead, he licked her face. He still had Luce and Chrys' clothing in his pocket.

Klaus shifted himself back. (I believe that's how he started.) He put both hands to his mouth and shouted, "THANK YOU RAPTORS" before continuing on his way home.

Minerva was already off doing her Minerva thing but she took a moment to pat her girls to welcome them back.

And wouldn't you know it? The Brooks Bros outlet downtown hung a 20% off sale sign outside their door.
