There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

"Yes, Chaos is good, and nearby with unconventional menu items." Arthur agreed as the left.
Shortly, he was transformed by the wave of Telluric energy, back into his raptor form. He looked down disappointed he ruined another pair of pants to his legs. Kicking aside the scraps of fabric, he felt a sense of irony from the circumstances, and deduced what had happened. He took the small gold device that resembled a pocket watch and looked at the readings. For him it would be temporary, half an hour at the most. But he was unsure what the far reaching effects were or how long it would be until the OMTIS would be repaired.
"Oh crap, someone screwed up. I hope I'm not called in to deal with this." he muttered before he turned to look at Insidious.

New Aksarben wrote:Ray's screeching and cursing was easily picked up by Jacob's new raptor ear-things. Jacob wasn't sure what they were called, seeing as they were basically holes in the side of his head. But anyway, Ray's screeching drew some concern from the personification, who was worried that his friend might have gotten hurt somehow. Especially considering Ray was a PI and former police officer and thus should be quite tough. But then again, he did tend to be quite girly, so it was logical that Ray was freaking out from the sudden transformation.
So Jacob carefully began heading for Ray's room. He walked slowly to avoid ripping the carpet with his claws, and did his best to not trip and fall into anything. Some of the things in his apartment were quite valuable after all, and some had quite a lot of sentimental value. Plus, Blossom might not be happy having to clean up carpet shreds or holes walls. Jacob was surprisingly calm for suddenly being turned into a raptor. But it was mainly because he had been turned into many other things while in the Building. Namely a woolly mammoth, a girl(twice) and a carnivorous chinchilla. But he was feeling quite hungry for some raw meat, strangely enough....
Jacob quickly knocked on Ray's door, and called out to the fox furry. "Ray, are you okay? I heard you screeching, so I came to make sure you did not get hurt by the change to a raptor..... Can you please calm down though? I am sure the raptors can fix you, if you give them the chance. They are very smart after all..... I am sure this is just a fluke, anyway....." He tried opening the door, but did not have very much success. It was odd manipulating objects with raptor claws. He was afraid of damaging things and tried to lightly hold onto the door handle, but his claws slipped every time. He sighed and waited for Ray's response instead of trying any more to open the door.

While the clothes that were fitting her were pretty, she wanted to be human again, to have her old features back. It was almost like having your pride taken, being in a different form made her queasy.
"Yeah, I want to go back to normal." She said.
Bran, on the other hand, only was dissapointed by the outfit he'd been given, but his 'uncle' intrigued him enough that he wished to learn more. "Fram, if you'd like, I could tag along. Besides being a dinosaur, something exciting has eluded me today."

He vanished in a puff of purple smoke.

Dora smiled back, acknowledging Ogoti’s courtesy. “Probably so. Conservators have a similar gesture, but I suppose I should stop using it.” She returned Pranamasana, closing as well with “Namaskar”.
“Please don’t abandon the one used by your brethren,” he implored her. “It’s a beautiful gesture. What does it symbolize?”
She paused. The crashes and whispers of the waves were still going on, lending peace to the atmosphere.
“Service, more than anything. We’re fairly insular as a group, because some of our customs and practices aren’t widely accepted in modern society“ - Dora paused to give Ogoti a significant look, as she was sure they both knew what she meant. “So it’s there to remind us that we were once human, and that, despite our powers, we’re on a level with them in the end. We have the same thoughts and feelings, and we can still die just as they do. Bracing a hand on another’s shoulder means I support you, while bowing to them, of course, implies humility.”
The gesture’s benevolent implication wasn’t lost on Ogoti. “The universe should adopt that greeting. It would be a much better place for it.”
“Quite so,” Dora mused, sinking into a reverie. A few moments passed, and then she shook it off. “I believe I owe you a decent run?”
Morning broke. Ogoti stirred from his reverie and opened his eyes to find avocets rooting through the tide in search of tiny crustaceans. Dora and he had settled onto the sand sometime before dawn and she was still nestled against him. He raised his hand to sweep her hair from her face and discovered – scales.
His head tipped downward to examine the naked raptor in his arms. Oh, you’ve got to be shitting me! Why did the universe conspire against him? He bit his lower lip. He wasn’t giving up that easily. Ogoti changed form to match her.
“Are you asleep?” A reptilian finger stroked her gracile neck.
“Hmm?” Dora blinked as she came awake. “Yes, I am,” she drawled, winking. Then the odd feeling registered. Her skin didn’t feel like skin...and neither did Ogoti’s.
She raised an eyebrow lazily.
“What just happened? Why are we scaly? I don’t suppose Swith turned us into raptors like she did mermaids for Bran and Rylli.”
Ogoti sampled the air. His senses extended outward to discern the city’s emotional state – complete turmoil. People were angry, confused and horrified.
“No, this isn’t Swith’s doing; no magic involved. It’s a bad practical joke perhaps. They’re insane, those raptors.”
He nuzzled her cheek and then lifted himself off the sand. Small grains fell away from his thighs and tail. Eh, I have a tail. He swished the long appendage and looked towards the building in the distance.
“We should return home.” He stooped to retrieve his castaway clothing and handed Dora her own.
“Hmmm,” she sighed/hummed in agreement, flicking her own tail as she felt his snout on her cheek. “The night was enjoyable, but it’s about that time, isn’t it?”
The god-turned-raptor bobbed his snout. “It is. Encore when you have a free night?”
“Count on it,” Dora answered with a raptorish grin, as they headed back to the building, where Chrys had just caught Hans' look.
"Want to join in?" the Conservaraptor said. "It's awesome fun! People get so embarrassed! Even Dora the stoic here!" She jumped at Dora and the two collided in a mess of claws and tails and hissing, as this RP's OOC OP had once imagined.

Arthur was surprised, but not unsettled by the episode. It was an interesting reaction to the Telluric wave, to say the least. He chuckled when it was over.
"Well, are we still on for dinner?" he asked with a laugh.
He was determined not to let changed or work ruin the day. With a raptor grin he leaned against the wall with one hand as he lit another cigarette. his suit was less fitting, but it would be easy to keep on. Thankfully, he never carried anything in his pants, and had a spare pair in case of these kind of emergencies.

New Aksarben wrote:Albert finally gave up finding anyone in the communal rooms, so he decided to head down into the lobby to find people there. Or more accurately, find the raptors that might be there. He scratched his scaled chin with a sharp claw before surveying the room once again. "Fuck. This is fucking annoying. Those raptors next door will pay for this. They fucking ruined my favorite clothes, and completely fucked up my day. Might as well get revenge and then force them to fucking change me back to human. And do the same for Ray. He's probably taking this much worse than I am...."
A sigh left his raptor maw for a second, before Albert headed over to the stairs. Luckily his new raptor body seemed to have the same strength and durability of his human form. If anything, Albert felt stronger like this. More dangerous and more lethal. A predatory grin appeared on his face, as he started jogging over to the stairwell, then down the stairs to the lobby. HE was beginning to get the hang of using his tail to balance, and to run on his new raptor claw-feet. He snickered happily and jumped from the landing between the floors and landed on the ground floor landing deftly. "This is actually kind of fun! I've never felt so damn deadly before!"
He then proceeded to struggle with opening the door for a few minutes, before walking out of the stairwell and into the lobby. He looked around and noticed severalpeopleraptors heading for the front door. "Hey! Where is everyone going?" Albert shouted after them, tilting his head to the side as he did so. "Is it to go over to the raptor house to force them to change us back? Because if so, I'd love to tag along! I'd love to give them a piece of my mind!" He grinned again, which looked quite nasty on his newly-turned-into-a-raptor face.
