"Mm, I think you would look awful cute in them," Ray giggled and then fell into Albert's lap, laying down on his stomach and stretching out. "I would love to see you in them...Just once, before you leave?"

"Okay everyone!" Minerva spoke up a little so people towards the back could hear. "There's a little pub a block from the building. It's called the Wilting Succubus. It's where my lads hang out... actually, they run it. BUT, unlike Chaos, there aren't any ears listening in, AND unlike Chaos, the first round is on the house. Everyone alright with that? And would someone see if people in the building want to come with? They'll want to know what the fuss is about."

She placed her hand on Bran's shoulder. "If you need extra stuff like diapers or wipes, just ask. We're always running errands in the city. I could have one of my lads pick some up. Or, if you like, you can borrow a bag from us. We have families here. Infants, toddlers and school-aged children. Not many people realize that."

Minerva craned her neck to look up at the Raptor. It'd been a few months since she'd stood next to an Astartes. She'd almost forgotten how lively the mutated ones were. "Yes, Volturius, we'd be delighted if you joined us for a drink. Miss Tipper as well. She can have tea or some lemonade."

The little cultist smiled in Minerva's direction and slipped her hand around the Raptor's wing tip.

"I can call Albert and Ray, they would likely want to know about this, but I think they were asleep when the telegrams were delivered." Jacob said, pulling out his phone and beginning to send a text to his brother.

"Whaat kiind oof drriinks doo deeii haawe aat daat taaweerrn, Miineerrwaa?" Sig asked, looking over at the cultist with an expression that showed his curiosity.

Neil and Gretta had been silent throughout the interview with the government, their eyes twitched at mention of their eating habits and that they were watched. How much did they know? Fortu took it a bit better since he was worried only being an accomplice to the others and his Nicaraguan medical license being invalid.

"I can't, I don't want to fight. I have vowed to do no harm." Fortu said.

"I can't believe he called us lawless, just because we follow our own. If I want to build a death-ray in my backyard or turn monuments into tofu, that is my right as a superior species! But we could use the money...Arthur and Nevvie won't mind being consultants." Neil said.

"Hey, I have had a rough week going through withdrawal since Fortu threw away some of my medications. But I do need something to do since the psychiatry practice is taking a downturn due to my patients getting transferred." Arthur said as he groaned and held his head smudging his sunglasses.

"Neil, you and I can't do this due to...you know, and having to raise a family. We need to allocate our risks." Gretta advised Neil.

"I will not on the principle of the matter." NVE said.

The five members of the Raptor Faction looked to where they expected Nevvie, but they made her stay with Scarface to look after the chicks.

"I'm sure she will be a consultant as well." Arthur said.

"Ales, wines, and other spirits," Minerva replied. "A few things not commonly found in this dimension as well. Sumbel also. I think we carry a sweet ale or two that you'd feel at home with."

She followed Bran. "I've got to get some diapers. We'll meet you all there."

She exited the building with him (because using magic inside it would have pissed the government off, as she'd learned in a Drone Invasion-era moment). She helped him unlock his bike and then used her abilities to slip across town (with a quick stop at a store for baby things.

"Alright, let's get these diapers dropped off and see who can join us for a meeting."

"Yes, but most of the defense was very disorganized until Primordial took command. Before that, people were more or less just shooting into the air wildly, hoping it would help." Jacob said with a sigh, "My brother included. But I suppose that we did to a good job at defending the city,only getting it a tiny bit annihilated from the surface of Earth."

The sisters were pissed, needless to say. They had made their way back to the apartment, and immediately went about packing their weapons and equipment into cases and hiding them. Katya took the laptop she had gotten earlier and made sure nobody had seen the military secrets in it. She made sure to add the city's surveillance of them to her report for the month before sending the already-late document. Afterwards, the sisters packed up and walked into the halls for a brake.

"Sure, and then we go for a drink? Oh, you must see the baby!" Bran chuckled happily. "And then we can go for a meeting, and to the pub." He suggested. He kept shooting glances to Voltarius, frightened by his frightening appearance.

Albert rolled his eyes, and followed along behind Ray. "Well, maybe I can pet you later, but I want to get something to eat. We slept in till at least noon or something! and I am getting quite hungry!"

"Well, she is a 700-something year old Vampire, so she's had a lot of experience. She is a pretty good cook." Albert responded, wondering how Ray would respond to knowing that he was both the youngest in the apartment by far, and the only one who wasn't supernatural in some way or another.
