[Urran]

"Clothes?"

Katya was curious. "Will we be wearing Urran-style clothing?", She inquired. Just thinking about it seemed strange. Sure, a Kimono, or whatever they wore seemed nice, but was it as nice as a dress?

Torii dusted herself off and slowly shuffled over beside her sister.

Yuri turned to Katya next. "Kimonos, military uniforms, or suits can be worm to the memorial service. Whatever you want to wear at any other time." she said with a smile. "Anyone else?"

[Lancearc]

"Yeah, it's not like Swith's going to blow up a plane, or going to bring something illegal." Bran chuckled as he stood nearby the door. "Oh, and on the flight, you could teach me about the clothes then." He suggested, trying to find something to do beforehand.

"Hmm, fruit? I'm a fan." Drova nodded and plucked a piece from the platter, barely noticing the servant carrying it for him. "Mmm, thank you. So you're from the past then. Interesting."

"Yes, that's how my father attempted to invade this place, he brought armies with him from our own time." Lance confirmed, taking a bite of his own date. "

[Torsiedelle]

"Clothes?"

Yuri turned to Katya next. "Kimonos, military uniforms, or suits can be worm to the memorial service. Whatever you want to wear at any other time." she said with a smile. "Anyone else?"

Now it was Torii who raised her hand.

"Um, what about seating in the aircraft? I kinda wanna sit next to my sister, but what about someone else? Or, what if my sister wants to sot by a friend? I know, it's stupid, but I just wanna know....oh, and will there be potatoes in Urran?"

[Urran]

Katya's questions caused Yuri to giggle. "The upper level is reserved for us and it seats 225 people. We get plenty of room to sit by whoever we want. And since the flight will take literally more than a day, you can always swap. As for potatoes, yes, we have potatoes."

[Cerillium]

Ogoti coughed again but his gaze went to Swith. She had invited him. There was a minute twitch to his eye. He was insulted but only Swith would recognize the expression for what it was.

"Excuse me, Miss Yuri?" He spoke politely as always. "Only Kimonos, military uniforms or suits? We are not permitted to wear our native attire?"

Ogoti coughed again but his gaze went to Swith. She had invited him. There was a minute twitch to his eye. He was insulted but only Swith would recognize the expression for what it was.

She looked back to him again...a little annoyed. "You must remember, this isn't your country. I must ask each of you to follow that dress code, it's a cultural thing."

[Swith Witherward]

Ogoti coughed again but his gaze went to Swith. She had invited him. There was a minute twitch to his eye. He was insulted but only Swith would recognize the expression for what it was.

Swith sighed and conveyed her thoughts to Ogoti. "I have to go home to tend to the twins nightly so I'll bring food. I don't know what to tell you about attire, Ogoti." She shrugged very slightly before continuing the silent conversation. "No one can make you break tradition. Simply do not attend the funeral and accept the fact that these are uneducated people who lack worldly knowledge regarding different faiths."

She sighed and turned toward Yuri. "Yuri, our attire is religious rather than cultural," she explained patiently. "Wearing anything else to a funeral would be a severe breach of protocol. While I myself do away with some of our traditional attire... well, for formal occasions... you're asking gods to throw away their religion because of your culture?"

[Tiltjuice]

Jacob gave a bit bigger of a smile when he saw Dora approaching. "Oh, Salve, Dora. So you are coming along, then?" He heard Yuri, so he decided to go quiet following that , to be respectful of the other personification.

Dora gave a quick nod in response to Jacob as Yuri began to talk.

"Oh there she is" Yuri said cheerfully, nodding to Gio. "Now, we are going here for a memorial service as you all know, and the Urranese government is giving us special treatment. We will not be going through security like normal, they will simply run us through an x-ray machine. Any weapons you may have brought are fine, just tell security about them. Now, this is a war-torn nation, so the military will be out in force, don't be nervous, they are there for your benefit. Red meat, alcohol, and produce won't be aloud through. Red meat and alcohol are toxic to us but are available at some specialty shops run by foreigners, and produce may introduce nasty things to our environment. As I said before, this is a memorial trip, but we will have downtime, but keep in mind, this isn't a vacation. Any questions?" she took a deep breath after finishing her rant.

Her frame of mind turned to appraisal as Yuri began to speak, almost like a cross between the boss-man and Luce. Businesslike, yet still polite.

And there were the echoes of the same snappishness that the boss-man sometimes showed. She didn't mind, though. Definitely not about the dress code; she'd had worse. Luce probably would be a bit envious, traveler that he was.

"Right, so where do we get one of those?" she asked, neutrally. "And can they be in specific colors?"

[Urran]

Yuri blushed, she felt like an idiot. "Oops..religion is different. That will be acceptable then. Gosh I feel stupid now." she said, hiding her face with her purple hair. She turned to Luce. "They will be provided for those that don't own them"

[Swith Witherward]

Swith bowed. "We're an odd sort. Don't feel stupid. Not very many are familiar with our ways. I'd love to teach you some of our customs if you'll teach me some of yours while on the trip."

[Urran]

Yuri smiled and bowed in response. "It would be an honor."


Blossom was growing impatient. She tapped her foot and kept staring at her watch. Yuri shot her a look at her telling her to keep her head on. The vampire started floating Indian style in mid air and sighed.

[Cerillium]

Yuri blushed, she felt like an idiot. "Oops..religion is different. That will be acceptable then. Gosh I feel stupid now." she said, hiding her face with her purple hair. She turned to Luce. "They will be provided for those that don't own them"

"Bless you, thank you," Ogoti silently conveyed to Swith.

"Thank you," he responded to Yuri. "Your understanding is very appreciated."

[Tiltjuice]

"Thanks," Dora drawled. She nodded, satisfied, and then stood back to let Swith and Ogoti have the light. She shifted the grip on her bag, and looked around at the rest of the party.

[Urran]

"Anyone else, last call for questions." Yuri said calmly. She surveyed the group, looking for any other questions in need of an answer. She looked at her watch, the plane left soon, they would need to get going soon.

[The BranRiech]

"I've brought my military uniform, although I'll wear the Kimono. My uniform might be insensitive because of the situation." Bran said and started looking ashamed of himself. "Sorry, Yuri." He automatically apologized for his actions.

Yuri giggled at Bran's statement. "Especially since it's a military ceremony. I wouldn't want you arrested." She tapped her foot a it. "Are you all ready?"

[Torsiedelle]

"We're ready.", Both sisters nodded. Katya also gave a slight bow, after picking up the habit. "We may wear our formal military uniforms. We may also wear dresses. Whatever you find more appropriate."

Torii was starting to look around the lobby.

[Lancearc]

"I've brought my military uniform, although I'll wear the Kimono. My uniform might be insensitive because of the situation." Bran said and started looking ashamed of himself. "Sorry, Yuri." He automatically apologized for his actions.

"Mmm, why take over the future, no point. Take over the now." Drova said. He didn't understand really, why would someone invade from the past? There'd be no point in it.

"Father was not the most...stable man. He did many things on a mad whim." Lance said, finishing off the small fruit. "No one ever understood why he did many things."

[Urran]

Yuri turned, picked up her suitcase by the handle, and started walking towards the door slowly, looking over her shoulder at the odd group. She shook her head and smiled softly to herself. Her country was known for being accepting and had become known as a safe haven for non-humans in times of political and racial strife, but this, this was extraordinary. Gods, vampires, personifications with animals parts. This was certainly a weird group if ever one existed.


Blossom scurried up and stood near Gio. The godling gave her some comfort, she was excited, but a bit nervous.

[Giovenith]

Giovenith thought for a moment, considering if she had any appropriate attire to wear there. She never really had many opportunities to dress formally, but she figured that she probably had a girl suit somewhere in her pockets (where most of wardrobe was located). Occasionally Miss Jerid had events that would require such clothes, not often, but here was a time to use it.

"Hi Blossom," she greeted cheerfully, snapping out of thought. "Ready to go?"

[Urran]

"I know," the girl wrapped her vampire friend in a hug. "It's going to be hard, but at least we're all here together, right? Shoulders to cry on, friends to hold..."

[New Aksarben]

Dora glanced sideways at Jacob.

"Time never waits for anyone. Trust me, I know," she quipped, switching her bag to her other hand so it wasn't between them. "Coming?"

"Oh, sorry. I keep spacing out today." JAcob said, snapping back to focus with her words. "No idea why. I may need sleep or something.... been quite the emotionally exhausting day." He gave a small frown at the end, and picked up his bag again. He then smiled weakly and gestured for her to lead the way.

Blossom giggled and wrapped her arms around Gio in turn. "We'll be okay....I just hope that I get enough to eat." she said semi-joking.
