"That's right, you don't. You don't have the right to prevent her from seeing anyone, nor do you hold the right to threaten or harm those people," continued Giovenith. Normally Giovenith did not pack on this kind of talk so thickly, but at this point, she was not in a very nurturing mood. She was cross, and disliked to have to explain something that seemed so obvious, especially when she personally thought that there were other, much more preferable solutions. Honestly, deep down inside honestly, she highly cynical about trying to "fix" things at all... these didn't seem like things that could be fixed to her.

"We've made a list of things that have to change," she said quietly after a few moments of frosty silence, taking out the notepad from her pocket. "Number one most of all, this behavior you described to me before? It has to go. Torii is a person, not an object, not a thing to possess, thus you will not be possessive of her. You will not prevent her from seeing who she wants to see. You will not kill, harm, threaten, abuse, or harass Torii, or anyone who you believe 'gets between you two', or merely angers you. Anger is a natural emotion, but turning to violence upon it is not something that will be accepted or tolerated. That means no threatening to kill the Nikanors, no knives, no biting, none of that crap. A relationship is built on emotional needs that you have been neglecting dreadfully... there is only so much time a 'couple' can spend away from each other before there is no contact to be called a relationship. You will make time for Torii. When you have not, she has reacted negatively, and you are being held responsible for it." She paused again, considering Tsu for a moment.

"... I'm going to be honest. I don't have high hopes for this. I have to be cynical about it, because I know enough to know better than to hope too much for this. It's hard to hear, but it's true. This isn't something that deserves gentleness, because abuse is a horrible, horrible thing that is not brushed off lightly. You must consider yourself on high, high probation, Tsu. I'll be keeping in touch, and if you slip back into those habits once, it will be over. You and Torii will be through, and she will not be coming back, because she will not stay in a bad relationship." She looked pointedly to Torii. "Correct, Torii?"

"Early is better than late," he sighed, "unless we're arrived in the wrong spot. I'm looking forward to this trip. I don't know anything about the nation other than its general location. I didn't have much time to read up on it but I was asked last minute with Thriller being out of town and all. Can you tell me anything about Urran?"

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

"Ehm, not really . . ." Rylli said and blushed some more, not knowing much about the place besides that Yoshi and Yuri were from the place, and that they had good taste in food.

"It's sort of like . . . I don't really know, they're in Asia, and I've never known much about those nations."

"Uh, no." Drova replied with a shrug. "Infighting, eh? I'm familiar with the concept."

"While I sometimes feel like I should have just let him end all of the residents of this little rundown place, I can't help but feel like I grew to actually enjoy the company of some of them. The ones that weren't idiots." Lance said, recalling the original inhabitants of the first apartment block. "How long have you been making your home here, exactly?" he asked. He seemed to find that, perhaps, this one wasn't just an idiot peasant like some of the other people that lived here.

Torsiedelle wrote:"I guess that means yes?", Katya asked. She waved for Kei to follow, and began following Dora, herself.

Dora popped open the door to her apartment. Inside, the statue of Denise was still in the far corner, next to the window - just enough to let the poor girl get some sunlight every morning.

"Grab a seat anywhere, guys," Dora called. "Kei, you good with some of Luce's Scotch? Katya, what do you want? There's soda, regular water, spring water...soy milk."

New Aksarben wrote:"Hmm... Yeah. I just noticed that many people have shown up recently and joined our little group, as well.... And I am pretty sure I still haven't met people who were here before I was." Jacob said, waving to Dora happily when he noticed her. He wondered if she would be heading with them on the trip, but she hadn't shown any indication of wanting to come with them earlier. Jacob would honestly be glad if she came along, because then they would get more chances to talk. He turned his attention back to Chrys, though, to address what she had said. "Oh, right. I forgot you have powers over time. You could use that to show up somewhere without anyone noticing, then surprising them....." He scratched his chin, thinking. "That would be a really useful ability to have, I would imagine. I don't have any sort of power, if you don't count the fact I'm hard to kill...." He shrugged, and smiled. "Well, has anything interesting happened to you recently, Luce?"

"Not really, no. Other than meeting King Cerril here, and Yuna as well."

"True! It's also very fun! Except when trying to prank people with the same powers." She poked Luce in the side.

The BranRiech wrote:"Explain to me." Natiya shrugged as she watched the screen as well as the nanite tentacle, utterly confused.

By now the two of them were almost completly surrounded by a sea of moving and withering black tentacles that shimmered like gasoline. Each of them was forming shapes and symbols in a myriad of languages that pertained to whatever crazed plan Primordial was forming and with a single gesture from Primordial they disintegrated into dust that fell to the floor. "I can create a prison out of one way solar mirrors and mind bindings in the 13th dimension to redistribute its light based body while keeping its sentience enclosed." Seeing the look on her face he adds, "I can create a device that will trap the creatures mind and destroy its body."

New Aksarben wrote:
Erucia wrote:
Seemingly from nowhere, two tan-colored Lockheed JLTV Armored Vehicles charged from behind Octavian's position at a fair rate of speed and came to a stop nearby. Several masked soldiers, bearing the roundel patches of the SPRA's Emergency Response Team and wearing armor identical to an Erucian soldier's exited both vehicles, and their numbers seemed to be around eight. Another four remained inside the vehicles: two drivers and two individuals on the .50 Caliber Browning machine guns. The men on foot began to approach Octavian's group while staring up at the creature of fire, eventually beginning to take accurate single shots as they moved along. They didn't seem to be giving their identity to Octavian, only slowly approaching them while firing at the monster.

Octavian and the ACF agents basically ignored them, except a few who briefly looked over before getting back to the work of running and gunning. Most had to keep very mobile to avoid the intense fusion blasts that the creature was firing towards them. Octavian was at least 5 blocks away from the creature, and firing a sniper rifle from various cover, cycling through any safe place so he couldn't possibly get incinerated. Or at least so he could avoid the attacks of the far off creature. The Sniper rifle he was carrying and attacking the monster with used particle beams like most weapons from Aksarben, but with several parts in it to make the weapon much more damaging and deadly. It had been shown to blast not only through the shields, but the power armor of Aksarben in combat and tests. So it could effectively destroy the most protective armor developed by humans in their universe, with very little effort on the side of the attacker, and with very little recoil.

The only thing distinguishing Octavian from the other agents was that his armor lacked any symbol of the ACF on it. It was the normal coloring, but had a purple stripe diagonally across the chest piece, along with the crest of his family and Aksarben on the shoulder and chest piece respectively. Octavian crouched. down behind a parked car, and aimed his rifle at what he assumed was the monster's head. He steadied it and made sure his aim was accurate, before firing an entire magazine charge, or five shots, towards the monster. HE hoped this would be affective, as he ran over towards the SPRA vehicle to take cover behind it. HE guessed it would make great cover as it looked like a military-type vehicle. Which Octavian trusted much more than a normal car for protection

The creature suddenly got its second wind and its fury increased with a brutal assault. Its many arms began to close around its body hanging itself in its own warm embrace while bowing its head in a fetal position. What at first looked like a sign of victory quickly turned into one of despair as with a sudden motion the beings extended all of its limbs like a transected god. With this motion a single not broke the air and an explosive wave issued forth from the being with the equivalent force of a 1 kiloton nuclear device.

It barely stopped after the brutal attack and continued with a renewed passion. It began to focus on the most annoying of its foes firing a solar fusion blast form each of its arms at a single ACF agent the force of the eight fusion blast powerful enough to rip its shields open four times. As it methodically incinerated the ACF and ERT operatives one by one using the heat of a super nova, its head scanned right to left its eye glowing with the light of a new born star blinding those trying to attack it.

Torii recoiled slightly. She was also a bit frightened by Gio's attitude, but had to keep enduring. She smiled back at Tsu. She was really hoping this was worth it. She knew it had to be. All this time, her talk with Gio, what they were going through right now...if this didn't work, and they could no longer be together, Torii didn't know what she would do.

"Good," Giovenith sucked in a long breath and slowly let it go, trying to purge herself of excess pep from the talk. It was in the hands of chance and luck now. This made her uncomfortable, and somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew she would be punching herself black and blue if the chances turned downward, meaning she had ultimately allowed it to happen. "I'll be watching, like I said," she added in note of this. "I want to help, but I won't be sugar-coating any mess ups I see. No second or third chances, this is the last."

She paused stiffly again, staring rather intensely and uncomfortably at the couple for a few more seconds, as if something would flinch and bring it all down right there and then. As if begrudgingly satisfied that this had not happened in the short amount of time, Giovenith relaxed and half turned around. "I'm done now, then. For now. It's always for now. ... Would you two like... privacy?" It really, really did not seem like such a wonderful idea to leave two people in an already-questionable relationship alone together, but Giovenith figured that she would probably have to get used to biting on her tongue and gritting it out real soon if this was how they were going to handle things.

She came back with a quart of soy milk, a bottle of Scotch, three mugs and a surprised expression. "Well, sure, I guess. I think I can take some time off; Ray hasn't given me anything to look into recently," she replied as she poured a round for everyone. "Sure you don't want to join Kei and me in drinking and being merry?"

"Oh, no. Me and Kei were talking, and I really should lighten up on the drinking. Besides, I'm trying to watch myself right now. No drinking."

Katya didn't say anything else on that. She really didn't want to make a big deal or anything, since she didn't know much either.

Giovenith wrote:"Good," Giovenith sucked in a long breath and slowly let it go, trying to purge herself of excess pep from the talk.

Torii was taken a bit off-guard by the question. "Um...sure, I guess...", She mumbled. "Unless, you know, you and Blossom want to hang out...or if Tsu wants privacy...whatever you guys decide on."

"i'd like some privacy with torii......" Tsu still had a faint smile and kept holding back tears. She wasnt going to break down.

The BranRiech wrote:"Just joking, Dora!" Kei called out and over to the fridge. "Didn't know you were bitter about being a statue in Chaos that one time, I personally thought that quartz really suited you!" She chuckled and relaxed into the couch more, occasionally glancing at the frozen girl. "She even alive?"

"My father thought it'd be a good idea to get some 'Real world experience'." Drova said and scowled. "Yeah right, palace life is real enough."

"Really?" Lance said, noticeably more interested at the mention of 'palace life.' "So you aren't a peas--er...are you some kind of royalty, I mean?" Lance asked, unable to resist inquiring further.

"Fine then," sighed Giovenith, turning and heading for the door, assuming that Blossom would follow along. She thought about looking back, but figured that it would cause her more anxiety than reassurance, of which she already had enough to spare. The girl focused on staying positive-but-realistic toward the situation, heading off to her room rather than lingering and allowing for a chance to repeat herself. Repeating oneself was rather annoying.

"Screw that, I'm no peasant." Drova sneered indignantly. He was away from his friends, where he could say those kinds of things without offending anyone in modern society where things were infuriatingly different.

"I'm a prince."

"Well, I could always put on a repeat show, just not at Chaos." Kei shrugged, nodding to Katya. "You look better, and . . . You don't need to worry about Yoshi."

Swith yawned and leaned back on the bench. The twins climbed up next to her. "I think I'll catnap," she said to Bran, Rylli and Ogoti. "Just wake me up when it's time to leave."

"My other clothes are in my room, the door to which is in the hallway you have annexed. If it offends you, I could retrieve them?" He suggested and looked to a nearby door. that had a simple gilded doorknob, as well as some ornate designs on the door carved into the wood. "My sister lives here too, she's off being stupid someplace. No, I take that back, she's nice enough, just featherbrained."

That was almost too good to be true. Or so went Dora's first thought.

"Care to explain that?" the PI enquired mildly, trying to get the question out before Katya came over all excitable. She traced a fingernail along the top of the counter, following the grooves in between the tiles.
