Having been given a shock at realizing she was so late for the meeting the paper had talked about, Gioveninth had ran frantically but quietly down to the communal dining room, keeping very small and trying to ghost her way in. She did not want to draw any rude attention, so the youngster kept silent and still, listening to whatever was said from that moment on. She smiled awkwardly.

"Nevermind." Bran said sheepishly. He kept quiet until he heard the part about the trip. "I'd be honored, but won't we be not accepted? We're Branriechian, I feel we'd be the odd ones out there." He explained.

"You surely must understand, but we'll still go." Rylli interjected, not about to let her husband butt them out of a perfectly good trip, especially one to Yoshi's nation.

"He left his belongings behind? And a will?" Bran then asked. "What's first then, trip talk, or the will?"

Torii was just as terrified by the beast. The sight of the cultists being murdered really didn't help her either. In the back of her mind, old habits and protocol told her to kill the beast, though. She began stepping towards the chest to help the other cultist. Katya saw this and tried reaching out to her sibling.

Primordial escapes out the door holding open and gesturing for the sisters to follow him, obviously flight is his reaction to this situation. The last remaining cultist fumbles with the lock as the creature’s snakes around the floor continuing to maim one of the corpses. Eventual the sound stirs the beast and it rears up looking at the cultist and Torii who had come to his aid. It releases an ear piercing roar as the chest is finally open revealing a circular disk hidden under a white piece of cloth.

"Quick, use it!", Torii pleaded to the cultist. She glanced back at the monster.

Katya ran past Primordial, being the first to run away.

Aegis more calmly and collectively slinks in behind her behind the group; he felt it was best one of his kin attended in case something happened but had assumed one of the others would. In the end he took it upon himself to join and report back to the other. Mourning was not something that Luxans did, it simply seemed strange to be sad about a basic part of human life and usually Luxans shunned the dead as people not strong enough to be immortal. It was harsh but fair in their eyes. However here he reserved such judgment.

"Yes, I have the will right here," Swith responded to the group. She opened up the document but glanced up and made eye contact with Gio as she was sitting. "Hello, Giovenith. You're looking well."

Her hands unfolded the paper. "Some of these people can't be here. That doesn't mean the will can't be read."

"To Bran and his family go a tea set, a three decorative vases and a woodcut, and his wardrobe save the kimono he wore on Gliese. To young Jacob here go a collection of historical books, Yoshi's laptop, a decorative fan, another wood cut. To Miss Giovenith he has left his poetry books, a book on flower arranging, a set of calligraphy brushes, and a poem to hang on the wall. Dora will received a set of kitchen knives and an old dagger. Katya and Tora are to be given his meager savings, his dress uniform, journals, cookbooks, the kimono he wore on Gliese, the original copies of all of his novels, his mothers jewelry box and a picture of him and his parents. Miku will be left in Tsu's care. Thriller and I inherit his table and dresser set and all of his dishes including an expensive decorative bowl given to him by one of his father's (now deceased) friends."

She folded the original will and passed out copies of it to the others. "I have his journals and uniform in the box. He also purchased a small item for Torii before his death and I have that as well. The other things are in his apartment. We can arrange to get them at your convenience. I've spoken with Mr. Demens and he assures me that Yoshi's apartment is paid for the next few months already. He's given me temporary custody of it as executor of the estate. The priority is this trip to his nation. This is a rare honor and it would be rude to keep the Prime Minister waiting."

Swith paused and leaned over to pull the photo album from the box. "I thought some of you would like to see the photographs that bore his spirit while here and after returning home. This item isn't mentioned by name in the will. I plan to bring the album with me to show to the Prime Minister."

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Listening to all the beautiful and well thought-out gifts that Yoshi had left for everyone was tugging a bit at Giovenith's heartstrings, not quite from the sadness of him being gone (though that was there too), but more so from the gorgeous, heartfelt love from the gestures, even if it was typical of a death. That didn't make it any less special for her.

I hope he's safe and happy where ever he is, she thought, tearing up a bit with a smile.

Yuri fidgeted in her seat and smoothed out her kimono that had wrinkled a bit on her lap. "Well, he left you all gifts relative to your interests." she said with a smile. "How thoughtful"

"Oh, bless his spirit." Rylli frowned. she didn't want to, but Yoshi had left these things for them, the least she could do was take them. Bran shared her sentiments and nodded.

"We'll go for them later, we appreciate this." He said.

Giovenith's reaction didn't go unnoticed. There wasn't any way to convey concern; Swith's method of counseling was a mystery. What did remain were the memories of the poolside and Giovenith's struggle to understand her role and the heavy mantle she'd one day wear. The smile put some concerns aside. Hang in there, godling.

"He was a very thoughtful man," Swith said to Yuri. "There wasn't a stranger who didn't become a friend."

She placed the album back in the box as well as the will copies that weren't distributed. "Is there anything else?" she said in an effort to wrap things up for them.

"I would love that, although I'd probably only wear them for special occasions. I-I'd like to know how to wear one, they look comfy too." Bran said and blushed slightly. He always did kind of like the style of a Kimono, but he'd never worn one before. The closest from his nation was the good old fashioned trench coat, as he was wearing his red one from the military.

"Oh they are. Yoshi wore them because they made him look bigger, he was sensitive about his weight you know." She leaned back a little bit, perfectly at ease. "Now we wait for this war to be over. I don't think it will last much longer."

The young girl was a bit taken a bit by surprise by Swith's meaningful smile, but was quick to return the favor. Smiling back, she bowed her head for a few moments out of respect and self-collection, before lifting it up again and giving a more content smile. I'll be fine. I promise!

Jacob smiled happily from Yoshi remembering his interest in history. "That was very thoughtful of him to give me those books. I'll make sure to keep them safe, along with the other things he entrusted to me." Jacob said, still smiling happily. He was sitting a bit away from the group, as he didn't want to be too close to others right now. He was definately feeling very sad still, but he was distracting himself with his many happy memories of Yoshi. "Did it really say 'young' in front of my name in the will? I am not that young, at all..." HE chuckled at that.

"Waat iez a haang-heerr?" Sig asked, mispronouncing the name by accident. "Iez iet liek a haarrboorr, oorr iez ie diiffeerreent?" He continued following behind Tieria, wondering what a hanger would look like. "Doo yoouu haawe booaats ien deerr?"

"If the meeting's over now, Yuri, may we go and collect Yoshi's belongings he left us?" Bran asked respectfully. He would understand if they couldn't, but he sort of wanted to get it out of the way, and to allow Yuri to teach him how to wear a Kimono.

"I'll take Tolya back home, see you later, Swith!" Rylli smiled and waved, even though it wasn't a happy occurrence, but still, she wanted to be polite.

"Imagine something bigger than a house that flies and has the power to destroy a city" His eyes glowed and a hill opened up revealing a large tunnel. "Come in"

Yuri nodded and stood up. "Come on then, let's go." she said humbly.

Swith waved to Rylli. One of Minerva's Lads offered to return the box to the Thriller's apartment and Swith accepted the offer. Copies of the will would be distributed to Dora and the sisters later that night with a request to make arrangements with Swith to gain access to Yoshi's apartment; she wasn't concerned with Bran going it with Yuri.

"One last thing," Swith said to the group. "Ask Yuri what is proper to wear to a funeral. We might be asked to attend a ceremony while there."

She smiled at Giovenith. "Ready?"

Jacob smiled and waved goodbye to Swith. He looked at his copy of the will again, and then placed it on top of his book. Jacob got up and jogged after Yuri and Bran. "Do you mind if I also get the things Yoshi left for me?" He asked them, after he caught up with them. "Would you prefer if I wore a suit or a toga, Yuri? In my nation, either would be appropriate for formal occasions... Plus, I don't know how to wear a kimono and I don't have any military uniforms." He had caught what Yuri had said about her boss being annoyed with her, and he sympathized with her. His boss got annoyed at him occasionally, especially when they wanted to declare war and Jacob was always against it.

Sigtrygg blinked, confused. "Yoou haawe drraagoons?" He had no idea what Tieria was talking about, so Sig was wondering if Tieria had somehow found a way to make actual dragons. It was the future for him, and he had no idea what they could possibly have in this time.
