Also he could kinda steal people's appearances (face, voice, etc), like how he did with some random ninja chick called Shiore, so sneaking into the forest of death was easier. And he wasn't recognised for who he was by the proctor of that part of the chunin exam. I think her name was Anko Mitarashi, and she used to be a student of his.
