It takes a lot more skill to wield than a gun, plus it's also more satisfying when you slice someone's arm, than shooting the person in the arm.

I concur with that statement. I'm pretty sure if you shot someone in the arm with a PTRS-41, it would be pretty satisfying, especially since it's an anti-tank rifle, meaning said arm would be gone

Even worse is the new XM109. It fires 25mm rounds. Even worse and it's issued to the US military to my knowledge
