Form of goverment: Unitary Republic (However, government leaders are debating whether or not to return to Monarchism)

Religion: Roman Catholicism

Capital: Madrid

Army: Small force of 120,000 active personel stationed in Iberia. (Colonies - Unkown) Made up of mostly former-Spanish citizens and stolen Spanish military supplies. Officers include experienced men from all over the colonies to help maintain order in the colonies.

Backstory: After the fall of the Gov't of the Spanish Empire (Well, the guy RPing left), General Jose Guarde Franco, leader of the Spanish Defense Division of the Spanish Army, organized a coup d'etat in order to take control of Iberia by force. The disrupted Spanish Defense Force was weakened and therefore the coup was successful in capturing Madrid and claiming power. After the short war, General Franco organized politicians to agree on a type of Gov't to establish and arguments are leaning more to a Republic with General Franco as the 1st President. However, this new government has yet to be recognized by the other nations on Earth.
