I'm gonna have to deny this, the idea of having multiple clans seems like it would lead to controversy and would kinda separate you from the other RPers. Just have one unified Orc clan and it should be accepted.

But when that clan is destroyed they are not unscathed. They just lost a clan they could've absorbed, and gained their Resources.

One: Basically all Ork clans are the same. They like fighting.

Two: If the Orks are unified , like 40k they would so many soldiers it isn't even funny.

Three; As much as I want to play as a galactic threat that everyone will unify to fight. I would do a terrible job at it.

That too. Plus the Clans are always fighting eachother. One of the reason that there population is always lowering or getting higher.
