Jack looked at his translucent hands as he was finishing his long flight across the Atlantic. They almost mesmerized him. He landed at May's work.

May was cutting down a tree with a chainsaw when Jack phased up from the ground. In hindsight, it wasn't a good idea to freak her out like that while she had a chainsaw, but Jack was able to phase through the machine in time.

"You fucking idiot!" She yelled at him as she went out to hug him, much to her acquaintance's surprise.

"Sorry, I'm outta practice with normal society. The Guru is a little.... bland and quirky so he didn't mind when I snuck up on 'im... Well not that much anyway." Jack explained, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

May quickly composed herself. She didn't want to give him the wrong id-

"Too late for that." Jack shot out to her, laughing despite the punch to the side. "So I saw the news recently. Ya know what happened with all that?" May shrugged. "Know where they went?" She replied in the same way.

"Can we just not worry about anything for a while?" She asked, using her apathetic attitude to hide her genuine desire to catch up with Jack. He smiled.

"Yeah. Whatever."

Scarecrow noticed a sign that said "Welcome to Baltimore".

"Ah, Charm City itself." Scarecrow noted, enjoying the ride.

"Shouldn't be long now." He continued.

"You're bein' boring as hell." Scarecrow noted.

Shade didn't respond. Scarecrow blew a raspberry.

[Wabacha]

In just a few minutes of fighting, nearly the entire enemy gang was dead. The few remaining gang members ran for it, gunned down by El Dorado men, the rest were chased. Walking after the fleeing leader, Akator threw his scythe like it was a frisbee. It hummed through the air, and cleanly cut the fleeing man in half. His scythe made a wide turn and returned to Akator's waiting hand. He looked around at the carnage that he had just wrought.

"Conquest... Completed."

Tempest grinned, or at least as much of a grin as he could make, being a skeleton and all. "Well, that was rather easy." He said. It has been such a long time since he had killed anyone. He had just been training and boring old training.

Silan looked at the small device in his hand. He had been coding for hours to make a program to search for any stories involving "girls+wings", "angel+insane", or "cowardly man+angel." The minute something came up on his radar, she would know all too well why NO ONE messes with Silan Koepnick.

"Ya know for somebody who grew up as privileged as you, I'd think you'd be a little more sociable." Scarecrow noted.

"Would you want it any other way?" Shade asked plainly. This shut Scarecrow up.

"Good point..."

Conall creeped out of the room past Shade and Scarecrow to join Nicole outside. He looked oddly at them then stepped behind the door.

"Ya know, why don't we ever talk telepathicly?" Scarecrow questioned.

"Why would we?" Shade replied, stretching her neck. Scarecrow shrugged.

"No need to? That're I just like the sound of your voice, as hoarse and monotone as it is." He chuckled.

"Mhm." Shade uncaringly said.

[Wabacha]

"Indeed it was. Men, return to base. I want these properties bought up by tomorrow." The men picked up their dead, dying, and injured and started heading back. Akator glanced at Tempest. "You are handy in a fight, I foresee many years of profitable cooperation in the future."

"Thank you." Tempest said with a bit of a nod. "This town, New York, the people of this town won't know what hit them." Tempest couldn't wait, really. This was more than just getting stronger and killing his enemies, this was real power that was withing Tempest's grasp, and he loved that idea.

The Arbitrator Court looking at its options released today to the public media that it will not remove Der Kommissars nor Der Arbitors badges. And that the best they could do was only to put these two operatives on probation.

"And I have the perfect target in mind..." With a knowing smile on his death mask of a face, he turned and headed back for the main El Dorado hideout.

"I wonder what Colonel's gonna do with Raptor..." Scarecrow mused.

Shade shrugged.

"He'll handle it..."

"Of coarse. He's probably just gonna tell 'im to pretend like he's against us, just to cover our asses."

"Mhm."

A sudden grin slid onto Scarecrow's face.

"Ya know, since we're gonna be out in the woods in all likeliness... by ourselves..."

"You're unbelieveable..." Shade croaked, unimpressed.

"Just sayin'."

"Right, because Conall and all them don't exist anymore..."

Scarecrow blew a raspberry.

"Ah, fuck 'em all."

"Ah, it's always nice to have a plan. At least then it's slightly less likely that we'll all die." Tempest said sarcastically. Obviously he wasn't going to die, that wasn't even an option.
Darin
After receiving the call Darin began the drive to Baltimore. They had a 6 seat SUV which they were driving, modified a bit with extra armor plating and a more powerful engine, just in case. Baltimore was pretty damn close, so it wasn't a long drive, about a fifty minute drive from DC to Baltimore, give or take a bit. It was rather quiet the whole way, which was surprising. Usually Daniel couldn't go five minutes without talking about how great his was. Eventually Darin saw a sign reading 'Welcome to Baltimore'. "We're almost there boys. And someone wake up Carson." Once again he had drank himself to sleep.

Shade eventually pulled into Colonel's yard, getting out and knocking on the door. Mayfield answered soon after.

"Ah, there's your pretty face Jessica! Right, so according to plan you guys can stay out in the woods. If you need anything, just knock."

Shade nodded, and before she left Mayfield finished.

"Oh, and my son is "searching" for you guys." He added with a wink. Shade smirked a bit and put her hood up.

"Come on Alex, let's set up camp..."

"Death is merely a stepping stone on the road of life," Akator said philosophically as they returned to the hideout. On most of the floors of the apartment building men and women were working at a furious pace, doing various jobs but mostly setting up numerous large scale computers. They appeared to be getting ready for some long term mission.

Darin arrived outside the Colonel's house not long after Scarecrow and Shade. Darin parked a little bit down the street and got out of his car. Everyone in his team was ready except for Carson, who had just woke up and of course had a hangover, and was of course fixing this hangover by drinking some more. Darin was honestly surprised that Carson still had a liver at this point. Darin saw Scarecrow and Shade and jogged over to them while the rest of the guys were getting out of the car and grabbing their weapons. "Hey, guys. It's good to see you." He said once he got closer to them.

Shade eventually pulled into Colonel's yard, getting out and knocking on the door. Mayfield answered soon after.

"Ah, there's your pretty face Jessica! Right, so according to plan you guys can stay out in the woods. If you need anything, just knock."

Shade nodded, and before she left Mayfield finished.

Napalm walked up uneasily to the Colonel. He did not yet know if the colonel knew of his innocence. Flamoc passed by into the woods and went near where "camp" was being made. He threw down a sleeping bag. "Wake me when something happens." He "slept. He figured others would know he is faking but it mattered little. Marybeth was arguing with Neko. "There is NO WAY I am letting you sleep in the same tent as Arthur kitty."
"I don't remember you being my mother. Why not, you jealous?"
" No, a girl just needs to sleep at night."
"Yeah...you could use all the beauty sleep you can get."

And finally, the drunk bastard who can barely stand up straight, Carson, our guy with the big ass gun. So, team, this is Scarecrow. Scarecrow, this is team."
