"Aaaaand she hung up. Fantastic." Darin said. "So, what now?" Asked Earl, the senior officer of the group. He was First Lieutenant, and the only CO in the group. "Well...we do the only thing we can do. Wait." Darin said. Carson stood up. "I'm gonna go get a beer." He said before he started to walk away. "That's a surprise." Jake quietly said, just loud enough for everyone at the table to hear.

Tempest took his cards and looked over them for a second. "Ah, poker. It has been quite a while since I've played. Not long enough for me to not know that these cards are worthless, though." Tempest said. He didn't have a damn thing, so he put his cards down. "Anyways, I believe I heard you mention the, ah, 'El Dorado'. I haven't heard much, but it sounds like you guys are rather well off. What would you say to someone who was interested in getting in on this 'buisness'?" It didn't exactly take a genius to figure out that this El Dorado group wasn't completely legal. Might have been the use of scouts and the fact that everyone pulled a gun on him. Maybe.

The men slowly put their weapons away and went back to business as their Boss was apparently fine with this undead guy walking in. Akator looked over his cards as Tempest talked, deciding that his cards were trash. He folded, revealing that it was a straight flush.

"Eh, boss, that was a good hand."
"Oh, it is? These rules are killing me." He laughed at his little joke, then smiled/smirked at the Necromancer.

"For the dead to defy death, you must have great power. That is something that El Dorado needs." He leaned back in his chair. "We are growing well, yes, but for a super to join us... I trust that you are better quality than the weak hero whose mind I scrambled?"

"Yes, of course." Tempest said. "I'm not great with guns or at melee combat, but I have a wide variety of...magics, at my disposal. Needless to say, these powers can be rather lethal when used correctly."

Shade took out an MRE, consumed it in three minutes flat and brushed her teeth far quicker than the twenty minute mark she told Scarecrow. Since Scarecrow was already ready, Shade called everyone at once.

Savior was skipping around, "Yes!" She called out, Inspector facepalmed and said "Yes" very quickly, The Blood Eagles talked to Angelus,

A more predatory smile crossed Akator's face. Now that the game had ended, he had returned to his normal self.

"Good. If you had no useful abilities, you would not of lived long in this strange world." A sudden thought occurred to him. "My apologies, I have not yet introduced myself. I am Akator, former guardian of the City of Gold. May I ask your name?"

"Good to meet you. My name is Alexander Wright, though I prefer to go by my so called 'supervillain name', Tempest. I look forward to working with you." Tempest said. All of this was part of a grand plan. If this guy gets control of NYC, he'll be one powerful man. Power is helpful, and Tempest was going to need a powerful ally to kill Shade and Scarecrow. They'd get what's coming to them, but it wouldn't exactly be easy.

Nicole didn't bother entering the cockpit and stayed in the troop bay for the journey as the Kingfisher corrected its course and spun in tune with Conall's dizziness.

Dont worry the Arbitrator court of judges can stop anything they have to say against us with a simple "Obstruction of justice" These fools clearly dont understand that money means nothing to the strong willed and uncorrupted. Money those not grant true power only the badge does that." After the two filled up their tanks they drove towards the tracker signal from Der Kommissars tracking system. "Also as our next task since Scarecrow is now gone from us is to catch these fools one at a time. However quite frankly we go in guns blazing and well we lose our chances of finding more of them. So we are going to do this undercover." "Yes Xavier as you say. But where did you first meet this target?" "Well she shouted at me as i passed her on bike i came to ask her if she needed a ride and she then used her powers to try to escape. And then i tagged her with my handgun so now i know where she is." Der Kommissar and Der Arbitor kept going onwards closer to the the tracker on Marybeth's thigh. "Well Xavier us two can enjoy ourselves then as we try to befriend this "Marybeth" and any friends she may have brought along." "Yeah i guess. Once we start getting close we are going to have to change. So that means we need some civilian clothes."

"And I am looking forward to see your abilities in action," He said as he stood up, his bones clicking together as he moved. He pulled his scythe out from inside his cloak as Blitz stood up. "And that may come sooner than you think. We are going to eradicate a nearby gang who did not want to subjugate themselves to our rule." Numerous men were loading guns and sharpening knives and swords.

Napalm woke up and slid out of a hotel bed. "I need to get a timeshare."
Neko, whom he had awoken, responded fondly but jokingly. "You would just find a reason not to stay there. Now, we need to find the others."

Flamoc was waiting at the bottom of the stairs. Although he had freed Napalm, tension was still high. This tension was intensified by lack of sleep and imprisonment. For now, Napalm ignored it.


Outside one could see Marybeth is Shades dhe recently bought driving around a new car. For those wondering where her money comes from, one of the Talent who has an alias of Psychlone is the current fourth richest in Britain. She sped around the capital(JUST short of literal speeding) in her new Lotus Elise.

Savior grabbed Inspector who folded his arms, unhappy. The blood eagles and Savior flew at the same speed as the F50.

"Sounds simple enough." Tempest said as he stood up. "A simple street gang isn't even a real threat. It's almost sort of sad, really." Tempest said. He actually didn't feel sad at all.

"Yes, it is sad, I suppose. A real waste of land and resources, squandered by squabbling idiots. El Dorado will use those resources to much greater ability than they ever could. Blitz, you will stay here and hold the fort. Others, move out." The men that were going to accompany them filed out of the room, and Akator gestured towards the door. "Shall we?"

"Of course." Tempest said as he walked out the door with Akator. "Well, at least I can say it's always fun to kill a group of idiots." Tempest really did enjoy killing people. It was his favorite pass-time.

"So how long're we gonna stay at Mayfield's?" Scarecrow asked, leaning back and taking the view in of Baltimore. (OOC: Ravens suck go Steelers!)

"I dunno, I was more thinking along the lines of camping out in the woods around it." Shade replied.

"Yeah, I don't think Colonel wants me for too long in his place." Scarecrow replied with a chuckle.

"Don't blame him..."

"Well screw you too."

Even Shade couldn't resist the temptation.

"That's what she said..."

This sent Scarecrow into a flurry of laughter, more so from the absurdity of Shade cracking a joke like that than anything else.

At Hathawell Capital Headquarters in New York, James was watching the news and waiting for the meeting to begin. It was a talk show. They were using the footage he provided.

"As you can see these Arbitrators attacked an innocent man without provocation. Not just any man, James Hathawell. I must say, this is an outrage. We cannot allow lawmen attacking lawful citizens or our public figures and business leaders..." It was all over the news. James' publicist had done a good job. With the attack on Nathanial Rhodes, the country was especially sensitive towards attacks on well known individuals. Most like the Arbitrator Courts would have their backs. But not if the country and government had his.

He flipped to another channel. "This goes beyond professional misconduct and constitutes attempted murder but James Hathawell has declined to prosecute. The US Department of Justice is already demanding that the Arbitrator Courts pull the badges of so called Der Kommisar and Der Arbitor for their brazen attack on an American citizen. The DoJ is threatening to rescind the Arbitrator's jurisdiction from the United States if something is not done about these two agents. Either way, the American people are angry..."

'First Nathanial Rhodes! Now a second attempt on James Hathawell! This is unacceptable!"

"The board is ready for you Mr. Hathawell." Miss Charrington said. James switched off the television and entered.

The two superhumans, if they could even be called humans, followed Akator's men through winding streets and alleys, eventually reaching the badder parts of town. Continuing farther, they eventually reached a wide street deep into the enemy gang's territory. That became evident when dozens of armed men stepped out of building and shadows, becoming over a hundred gang members that surrounded Tempest, Akator, and the two dozen men that they brought with them. One man stepped out of the ring of men.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Grim Reaper of El Dorado."
"So that's what I'm being called now... It has a nice ring to it." Akator didn't seem phased by being surrounded, it wouldn't be the first time.
"Shuttit! I'm going to become the Grim Reaper after I kill the undead myself! Kill them boys!"

The enemy gang's leader stepped back into the ranks of men as both sides charged each other, Akator sprinted after the gang's leader, cutting people in half left and right.

Tempest mimicked a yawn, since he wasn't actually capable of yawning anymore. He then calmly approached some on the enemy gang members. "Is it really necessary for us to fight? Really? Can't we all just get along?" Tempest asked. His whole calmness and not caring was actually enough to confuse the men he was approaching. When he got close enough, he fired a stream of Dark fire, which quickly burned the men to death, not even leaving ashes behind. "To answer my own question, no."

When Scarecrow had somewhat settled down, he continued.

"I saw ya smile there for a split second, don't deny it!"

Shade, already bored with her own joke, only hummed an affirmative.

"Ever think about not bein' such a hardass?" Alex chuckled.

"Ever think about not being such a dick?" Shade nonchalantly replied.

[Wabacha]

The men from El Dorado were outnumbered, but had the strategic advantage. As Akator had said often, The strongest wall has no weakness. His men were positioned in a circle guarded by shieldmen, firing into the hordes of men that were charging towards them. Unlike the uncoordinated, brawling attitude of the many gangs of America, El Dorado stressed tactics, using strategy to destroy their opponents. Of course, having a near unkillable skeleton warrior from the past who wields a giant scythe like it was a toothbrush helped too. The enemy gang was unable of opening fire on the men of the City of Gold without killing their own.

Akator easily made his way through the hordes of enemy gangmembers, slicing and dicing as he punched and smashed. As he fought (more of massacred) his way towards the gang leader, he kept an eye (figure of speach) on Tempest. This was just as much of a test of the undead's power, although he probably wouldn't use much, as much as it was his organization expanding.

"IS THIS ALL YOU GOT! I COULD KILL YOU ALL IN MY SLEEP!" He taunted the already terrified enemy, blood splattering all over his cloak and coating his bones in red.

[New Carloso]

Conall lay on the bed. For the first time in a long time, without armour obviously. Nicole was sitting on the landing outside.

Conall listened intently to the conversation in the other room.

Tempest was almost amused when he took a bullet. The great thing about being a lich, no pain. Of course, rather than laughing, he raised his hand and shot the attacker with lightning. Tempest then remembered how much fun it was to watch his enemies slowly die from being electrocuted So, Tempest send a large and powerful bolt of lightning. It hit one of the men and then proceeded to jump from man to man. By the time the bolt of lightning had been completely used up it had killed a dozen men. "Shocking."
