Shade thought for a moment and cracked a can of beer open.

"Hmm... we gotta find a good hideout... my place is compremised..."

Conall flexed his hands. "I saw a collapsed Endless on the way out." He said. "Its pretty big."

Shade cringed.

"Ew, I ain't hidin' out in one of those things! How about Colonel's, he's got a pretty nice place where everyone can stay."

James was still standing outside the station, waiting for the so called Der Kommisar and Der Arbitor to come out. They would not be happy with him releasing his prisoner so perhaps it was best to placate them now than have to deal with them later.

Der Arbitor and Der Kommissar walked out of the station and put there eyes on the man who came in to free their tool. "If i were you i would watch my back. Cause you have just angered much more important people then yourself. You broke our tool and for that you have sacrificed you blood." The pair then mounted on their motor cycles in preparation to leave.

"If you would hold for a moment." James said walking over to them. Miss Charrington registered the threat and her targeting systems began to lock on to both Der Kommisar and Der Arbitor.

"If you will Miss Charrington." She shot the motorcycles with darts from a launcher on her left finger. The darts injected Hathawell Tech nano machines into the motorcycles taking control of them and shut off the engines.

"I've been angering important people since I took down Julius Hathawell. But I'm still here. You were at my estate a few days ago Der Kommisar. Had quite the tussle if I recall. I am not your enemy lawman. In fact it was I who was aiding you remotely with the estate's defense systems."

Alex eventually made his way back to his house; the police had already investigated, and Alex wasn't caught due to his hoody. Alex went in, noticed a bunch of gear missing and phoned Shade.

"Did ya miss me babe?" He teased.

"Some business man payed my bail, but I'll tell ya 'bout that later. I reckon you're elsewhere?"

"I'm sure there's enough. I brought a suit of yours in case, and a male ghillie."

"I'll send Conall to pick you up, he's faster."

Jackal pulled up to the Park Mansion, home to Shade's parents. Police were there, many of them, investigating the two. Jackal brought backup this time; three other men, they were mercenaries armed with AK-103s. They approached the a group of officers and Shade's two parents; They were sitting on the stairs to their house.

An officer approached Jackal and his men.

"Hey! You can't be here! This is a crime scene investiga---", The officer said before being shot.

*pow* *pow* *pow* *pow* *pow* *pow*

Gunfire was exchanged between the officers and Jackal and his men. Shade's parents ran into the house, ducking their heads from the gunfire; Shade's dad managed to grab an M4 from a fallen officer.

Once they killed the officers near the front door, Jackal looked back at his men.

"Don't kill the parents, keep them alive at all costs...", He said firmly.

They entered the mansion, where they exchanged more gunfire with more police. One of Jackal's men got killed; They made their way to Shade's parents. They had locked themselves in their master bedroom, Shade's father aiming his M4 at the door the whole time. Shade's mother grabbed the phone and dialed Shade....

Jackal and his men began to break down the door....

Shade noticed her messaging system was ringing and answered.

"Mom? What's up?"

Conall flew in low over Atlanta. He activated the green and red indication lights and he shone the flashlights down the street towards Alex's and Jessica's house. The backwash tossed debris into the air as he landed the Kingfisher in the middle of the road.

Conall stepped out from the troop bay. "Alex, good to see you again."

Flamoc, Napalm, Neko, and now Marybeth arrived at Scarecrows house(Marybeth wrecked the car she was in) just as Conall was landing. Seeing Scarecrow, Napalm literally hidden in the trunk, Neko ran up grinning. "We have a surprise in the trunk for you. No reading minds and close your eyes."

I hardly think these powers can afford to upset one of their largest suppliers and source of capital." He said calmly, placing his hands behind his back.

"But enough with the pissing contest. Your job is to uphold the law if I understand correctly. Nothing illegal occurred in the way I had Scarecrow released. Everything conformed to American procedures for due process. We are not enemies so go do your job. I'll stay out of the way if I can. Miss Charrington..."

Miss Charrington released control of the motorcycles. Their engines roared back to life.

He gave a signal to his sister and they both throttled the engines. But as they rode off on to the street they both turned around to unload several shotgun shells into the rich pig. And then within moments they were off rushing down the road.

"I hear Jess went in an' knocked a couple of guards around. She's in DC last I hear, headin' to Colonel's."

Flamoc walked up to Conall. "Anyway Napalm's women could get her bike in here and me my car?"

"That motorbike will fit alright and it can carry your car too. But what happens to it during the flight is your problem." He chuckled. "I would advise staying in the troop bay."
