Arklight nodded to Marybeth. "How do you do?" He shivered. "Maybe instead of guns Kaizer could bring us some fur coats."

Conall pondered in the cockpit of the Kingfisher, reading the latest news on his datapad. "Rebellions, rebellions, rebellions. How lovely." He thought to himself.

"Is Dracula bothering you all?"

"About as much as a hormone driven kid." She turned to the Count. "I don't want you or anything of yours near my neck, or near me at all."

In some nondescript motel in Illinois, James and Miss Charrington waited. Charles arrived later than expected. The android pulled him into the room. James, looking a little haggard got out of bed to greet his friend.

"Do you have it?" James asked.

He set a briefcase on the bed and opened. James looked inside and grinned.

"The nanomachines link up with Miss Charrington's targeting system. She released them and they enter the body to suppress meta DNA. Temporarily of course but its better than nothing." Charles explained.

"And not much of a supply either." James said inspecting one of the capsules compatible with his android's weapon. This was the culmination of long diligent research.

"They're expensive and hard to make. She just has to shoot close to them. The capsules explode and the nanomachines do the rest." Charles explained. "Or you can detonate them."

"Good enough. Now I have to get to the rebellion."

Arklight felt jealous. "Lucky." He motioned at his light trenchcoat. "This thing isn't built for cold. Its built for maneuverability. I'll freeze like a popsicle." Arklight walked back over to Batlord.
"So Count how long do you think it'll be before the government comes for us."

James arrived at the rebel base with Miss Charrington in a stolen car. It appeared to have some sense of organization and that was encouraging.

"Shade knows who I am. Tell him James Hathawell is here. Tell her I have a plan." He said to the sentries at the front.

Ink munched on his waffle as he walked over to the group that was surrounding Marybeth, taking off his coat as he did so. Once he reached them, he tossed the coat to the shivering Marybeth.

"If you knew we were heading to Canada, you should of packed winter clothes. The coat is made for conditions like this, it will keep you warm."

He swallowed the last bit of his waffle and pulled his mask back down, tipped his hat to Marybeth, and went back to patrolling.

Shade awoke to the sounds of wind, with snow beginning to fall outside. She stumbled to her feet, her costume still on sans mask and hood. Shade pulled her hood up and looked outside, seeing people begin to move about. She went over to Scarecrow and said nothing.

"Feeling any better?" Scarecrow asked, watching Marybeth get snappy again. Shade simply shrugged.

"Better'n nothin'. Here, I'm gonna go fetch my outfit; yours could use a good washin' too."

Robert was surprised to see James Hathaway whom he had seen in the paper multiple times. He walked over and extended his hand. "Hello. Robert Kaizer, KaizerTech Labs. And I believe you are James Hathaway. I recognize you from various newspapers over the years and I assume its vice versa."

"SECOND RATE RUBBISH! HATHAWELL!" Robert was prepared to punch the man and made to do so until Scarecrow arrived on the scene. However that didn't stop him so two Commando's held him back. "Hathawell at least we know who's the friendlier and more likely to stay with the rebellion. Scarecrow my men can deliver those ULT Laser Guns by the evening but there's only enough to arm 75 men."
