Someone should totally make some sort of Lovecraft-themed character. It would be possible to have them not be OP. Here would be a possible app:

Appearance (Suited and Unsuited): A formless blob of pure darkness with a single three-lobed burning eye.
Personality: Attempts to possess anyone who summons it. Once possessed, they become host to one of the avatars of an ancient god. Said god tends to take sadistic pleasure in tormenting those lesser than it, such as humans. With the knowledge and cunning of the god, they become powerful and dangerous.
History: The avatar of Nyarlathotep, the Haunter of the Dark resides in a lightless void beyond the cosmos. It is invoked by looking into a crystal, known as the Shining Trapezohedron. Once invoked, it will, after a time, arrive in our world and immediately attempt to possess whoever invoked it.
Powers (Out of 30, +5 if you played in the first game):
Mind Control(20): It forms a psychic bond with its summoner, at first simply nudging its victim to help it, and later able to take control of the victim when the victim is vulnerable, such as when they are asleep. Eventually it can fully possess the victim.
Flight(5): It can fly.
Bestowal of Knowledge(7): As the avatar of an ancient god, it has great knowledge. Anyone looking into the Shining Trapezohedron will be given some of its knowledge. The longer one looks, the more information can be gained. With a mental effort, specific information can be found. The lure of the knowledge is generally why people summon it.
Resurrection: It doesn't die, but can be banished. However, it can be resummoned by the same method. Effectively, it can die and be resurrected.
Implacability(10): Unless banished, it will find its victim and possess them. It can wait for however long it needs to, and if it finds an opportunity, it will take it.
Invulnerability(10): It is invulnerable to everything except its one weakness.
Drawbacks(This is to be used to bring to down to 30):
Light (25): It flees small amounts of light, and is banished by large amounts of light.
Can your character be killed?: Yes
Other: Ia! Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos, the Soul and Messenger of the Other Gods and of (Azathoth, the Nuclear Chaos at the center of infinity, the Daemon-Sultan whose name no lips dare speak aloud), the Black Man of the witch-cult, the faceless god, the Haunter of the Dark, whose Thousand and One Forms none can see and live!
