Kherkov, may I ask: why does Sparta hate Spain so much and what would I have to do to come on good terms with them?

Isabella isn't a warmonger, she simply wants to expand trading and make it easier to trade internationally.

Give me Hispaniola, leave the Caribbean to me, and don't try and expand into North America.

a) I wasn't being serious with the first paragraph, what I said about the military numbers is true, but I wouldn't actually break the non-aggression pact unless you did something drastically wrong. b) Border forts are called border forts for a reason, besides I could still defend the cities if need be. c) those cities each have their own militia, that's a force of 20,000 stationed in their region before you even start to add reinforcements, and because I'm on the defensive I have the upper hand. d) You're not the only person who's getting areas industrialized, I already have areas of industry else how would I be able to have such a large armed professional and conscription force, you can't get over a million muskets through trade alone. e) this is all hypothetical, the paragraph you're basing this on is one in which I'm not being entirely serious, hell I'm known for not being entirely serious. f) I have the ability to occupy as much land as I could, once again you're trying to make up my limits for me, something you can't reasonably do. g) if you're pulling more men into the fight who's going to be running the factories you need to run to get stronger? h) I'll also be stronger, once again you're not the only person advancing in this RP. i) you're assuming that if I did invade I'd do so down south, as you've pointed out you're more important areas (including your capital and main industrialized area) is in Northern Iran and the Southern Caucuses, yet another place near my border that I could take, if I did that's leave you broken and beaten without a leader, you on the other hand have to march through a lot of desert to get near my capital city and in that time I could call back a lot of forces to defend it. You're at a lot more of a disadvantage than me in this one,

But I will once again stress that that first paragraph wasn't me being entirely serious, I do want to open up communications with Kershya, and what I said about military numbers is true if you read you're app your max at wartime is 48,000 my max at peacetime is 50,000. I don't want to be seen as threatening you but I am asking you to stand down from your claims of occupied land that you're sole reason for claiming is little more than not understanding that if someone applied for that land it is their's never mind if you sent an army towards it or not.
Oh and FYI I'm not fooling around in Africa, no more than you are, I'm not only expanding my land into more temperate and richer climates I'm also gaining land which once taken and fortified will mean that the Red Sea and thereby my main anchor point is nigh on impenetrable, whilst both places you can anchor your fleet are still open to attack.

oh and need I remind you that massing forces near my border is a breach of our non-aggression pact.

D) Industrialization is the main focus of my nation currently (with large European support), your nation seems to be more focused on expansion in Africa at the moment

F) No nation at the moment has the ability to successfully occupy all of my lands, the same goes for you
G) Around half of my population is male, my army is nowhere near 3.4 million strong so there are plenty of non-fighting men to go around
H) I am not ignoring all advancement of other nations, my post was concerning our two nations in particular. I am growing drastically more modern, but not as large
I) Between the Zagros Mountains and the Caucasus all my soldiers have to do is dig in and fight a guerilla war with full industrial support from the HSE and it`s allies, geographically speaking I am as well defended by natural borders as you are. An offensive war against state-supported guerillas in mountains that run from the Persian Gulf to the Black sea is unwinnable, not that I would have the ability to make much offensive action

You can see that I am re-organizing the military drastically. The Persian Gulf is practically owned by me, I am just as powerful as you are in the Black Sea.

Wow, this is going to sound REALLY bad, but I simply assumed they were Hindu because they were geographically nearer to India than the middle east. I do know Islam spread in Indonesia and the surrounding islands, so I am not totally ignorant. From now on I am going to do more reading on the people I colonize. Consider them the Islamic, because I am about to edit my post.

This whole marriage thing has got me thinking, what if I sent a female shipbuilder that is studying international naval vessels for the creation of my Atlantic Fleet into Sweden, because Sweden's naval prowess, and there she happens to meet the King and they fall in love, etc. My Consular gives full support, a big ceremony, cheers and claps, and just like that we have ourselves an international marriage.
