This is the second time that happened. I usually imagine the you would invade China, Alaska and the unclaimed northern regions first, given Japan's preference of land battles and the resulting decline in the navy due to the Saikoku Isolation, unless that didn't happened.

I'm semi-isolated. But I really want Hawaii for colonial expansion. Surely we can work something out?

Yeah, that would work. Given Dvipantara's naval preference and relative openness to foreign ships, either through trade or just passing through, and a colorful history of piracy, that would work.

Ah, whilst that would net me a good portion of land it is not strategically a good idea.

I already have a Chinese campaign going and as such I don't want any more wars if I can avoid them for the time being.

Plus, he's closer and more liable to assist me than you are.

@Landenburg, if the above demands are not met you have more to gain by assisting in my imminent invasion of Indonesia, all I want to annex (assuming things go as well as they should) is Sumatra. You have the Philippines, Hawaii, Hainan, and Taiwan to easily capture, if you pushed your military to the limit you could claim much more land. I would, of course, be prepared to offer you a handsome trade agreement and a military alliance in exchange for assistance.

you can't do that, they've claimed it in their app and said app has been accepted so you're going to go to war with them if you continue like this.

@Kershya, I would prefer you responded to my request, it is up for some negotiation(how much of Sumatra is given up). However if you refuse then the full force of Persia will be hurled at your nation, your army doesn't have the skill or size to hold out forever (especially with my oncoming modernization).

All I could think of is a Persian trade port, of course if there is war, then all Dvipantaran exports (like the ever so popular spices) to Europe will stop until the Persian aggression ended, and perhaps give the Europeans price cuts on spices to join in the war. After all, the first reason why Europe went to a colonizing spree was because of spices, from Columbus to Magellan.

@Blassland: I cannot sign a treaty to allow Hindu people access to Hindustan, as I am not playing as Hindustan. Also, we already have a free trade agreement.

@Kershya: Awesome. I'll get around to writing a reply soon-ish (I am dreading writing an account of the conquest of all of those territories my army has conquered in the last 3 in-game months.)

Hey, sign an alliance with me quickly and then I can stop Blassland from doing too much damage by taking him on in his home territory, I'm already on war-footing cos of my expansions in Africa, and that's not using up all of the force I have (for example Fifth Army, 50,000 Professional Soldiers are waiting round in reserve along with 15 or so militia of 20,000 each), that's a bigger army on it's own than Persia wartime army.

That would work, if Dvipantara explored that far west. They're knowledge of the west only reach India right now.

I keep seeing that so and so supported the rebels in the Revolution but it seems like we are just guessing at who actually supported who. So to avoid confusion is it possible to come up with a list of actual countries ((players)) that would have supported the revolution?

The only country that I actually know of that supported the revolution as it was going on was Spain, as it is basically plot canon that if Spain hadn't supported us, then half of France would belong to Spain, but I mean, that was decided long ago OOC, so I understand the confusion..

I think it's quite safe to say that the UHS didn't care about the revolution let alone support one side of it.
