I agree completely with the French Revolution part think I brought that up before but what I mean by the French Revolutionaries beheading people as a pass time sport is because I'm not into the whole beheading people and Charlemagne is one of those that would rather hang someone or just have them shot instead of the whole lets behead people in the street type justice presuming that's what the French Rebels are into.
Again, as I said, this is alternate history. So what if the RL French Revolutionaries went on a bloodthirsty rampage, killing thousands of people on the Guillotine and drowning thousands more in the rivers? Occitania isn't necessarily bound to that reality. If they carried out their revolution without public beheadings, then you have to accept that as canon.
