I'd love to say I did that when I was a kid...

But I did that not too long ago.

You know, that's a good point. Who in the fuck decided, "LETS NAME HIM ROBIN" for the third movie? I mean, for fucks sake, there are like five Robins, each with real names. Why couldn't we use one of those?! Why?!

The best part about growing up is the freedom to act childish.
That and doing your own grocery shopping.

Yeah. Nolan avoided doing that kind of "wink to the audience members who know about the source material" in the first two movies, but then he tried to do it in the third and I don't think he understands how it's supposed to work.

Strawberry rhubarb is awesome, but I like most ice creams so long as it's not too sweet.

Vanilla. My mother would never buy anything else. It's mass produced, so now we have a gigantic tub of the stuff.

The only good thing Rises gave us the hamtastic Bane, whom I unabashedly love.

But then, the villains were always the best part. The only other good part of those movies was the magnificent trifecta of Morgan motherfucking Freeman, Michael goddamn Caine, and Gary I-ran-out-of-swear-words Oldman.

Cotillard has never really impressed me, and yet Nolan has decided that she is go-to villainess.

I like vanilla. Right now I have this aftertaste in my mouth.

When I was a little kid, I found out you can have a job as an ice cream taster. Little kid me thought that was awesome, except that you're not allowed to swallow the ice cream you're tasting. :(

Man of Steel is slightly better and Inception kicks ass.

And I hate diCaprio.

Man of Steel was a bitter disappointment to me. One of my big problems with his Batman movies was that they seemed like superhero movies made for, and by, people who didn't like superheroes. Man of Steel takes that up to eleven. It's like a Superman movie made for, and by, people who not only don't like Superman, but have no idea who he is and if they did they would actively hate him.

I like diCaprio when he isn't meant to be likeable. Inception, he's fine. Django, he's great. Titanic, no. No no no.
