Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

Indian religions as a whole embrace scientific progression, Sikhism included. The Sikhs began as scholars, after all.
In fact, the Dalai Lama once said "If science proves Buddhism wrong, Buddhism will have to change." Other Dharmic faiths usually have a similar attitude.

Hmm, wonderful. I'll probably have a few more issues for personal life. I already know it's against drug use, which is understandable and I need that.

They also dislike premarital or extramarital sexual activities, which is likely your main problem.
In my experience, premarital is a minor bad thing, extramarital is much more frowned on.

I'd hope it's not too large an issue. I've no intention of changing that right now.

Depends, really.
It used to be more serious in India, but western influence is weakening it somewhat for all religious groups, at least for guys.
American Sikhs or Hindus tend to be more liberal than their Indian counterparts, for obvious reasons.
