A New World, Roleplay of the 1600's (OCC, Open)

It is the year 1600. New nations are ruling the world, occupying territories of the old, now-fallen original countries. These new powers are in a drive for wealth, control of more territories, and power. Now in a world, full of chaos, war, and conspiracies, the leaders of these new nations will have to use whatever means necessary to survive and bring their nations to glory. Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive.

IC Rules:
- The Co-OP's are Valentir and me. We both can accept applications, and our word is final.
1) No Godmods, Metagaming, Cheating, or Puppets will be allowed.
2) Be realistic and do not make up random stuff. If you are going to invade someone, don't just miraculously show your troops in front of your opponent's palace; RP about it.
3) When invading someone, give the other player time to respond, don't occupy his/her entire country in one RL night. Take your time and no steamrolling.
4) RP with the tech of this age; you may be able to discover a new technology if the year it was discovered is within 5 RP years.
5) Random events will take place. Everyone (at some point) will receive positive and negative events (including the OP's).
6) The Co-OP's will decide how much time is in one thread page. Based on the speed of the players to RP.

Hmm.... I'm not sure about Eastern Brazil and Cuba. Colonzaitalton like that was only by Spain, France, Portugal, and England. Could you claim something in Libya?

What if someone wants Mexico, or Spain, or Portugal?

I thought the point of alternate history was that we didn't just recreate real-world nations - I'm sticking with my claim over France and Spain as it suits my nation's history.
