Well, I think every region and sometimes game has an almost entirely different religion. In Kanto, it's Mew and Mewtwo. Then, in Johto, it's Ho-oh and Lugia, and the things they make. In Hoen, it's about Air, Land, and Sea beasts. Also there are giant thingys that are rock that walk around. In Sinnoh, there's Arceus who is the new 'god of all'. There are also lake bugs.
