Segmentia wrote:"Fall in, Lanik." Smith ordered. "Everyone up!" She said right after. Walking around the platoon she shook her head.

"I have never seen a more sorry bunch of ODSTs in my entire career. Sadly, we do not have the luxury of staying back, so I cannot re-teach you all how to be soldiers!" She said, looking at each ODST she passed. "If you want out, tell me, and I'll get you out. I do not want some quitter in my unit. I do not want a COWARD watching my back!" Jessica stopped at the end of the small area and did an about-face, looking at her unit.

"We have a mission to do. It's real simple. Our mission, the only goal in any of our worthless lives from this point on is to kill every single one of these alien bastards we come across. I want you to shoot them, I want you to stab them, I want you to fraking butcher them! And after we kill all the ones here, we'll move on and kill some more!" She wrapped up her little speech. "Now fall out. Get the wounded to the aid-station, and everyone else get geared up. We roll in twenty minutes. And Sarge, you've got shotgun."

Alex salutes the lieutenant once more. "Spartan-111 was CASEVAC'd to the Harbourmaster for medical treatment. I do not know if he will be able to join us." Alex said.

The Corporal nodded, jogging over to the line, and joining as the latest member of the formation. Lanik listened quietly as the Lieutenant made her speech, eager to get his hands on a DMR and a nice vantage point, but even more eager to head back home. As the ODSTs fell out of line, Bohuslav took his own position atop a small crate. He sat down, taking a small metal case from one of his many pouches, a long with a box of matches. He took a quick look about various vantage points, before taking his helmet off. He shook his head, not bothering to fix his hair, as he opened the silver case and took out a cigar. He looked about the other soldiers, as he tore off the butt, and lit the cigar with a match.

"I've got twenty minutes, I'm going to savor every last second of them to enjoy a warm cigar." He sighed to himself, as he leaned back and looked at the rest of Ghost Company.

The Pelican dispatched from Harbourmaster landed in the LZ. The two repair techs stepped out, one of them heading to the Vulture, the other to Little Bear. The two techs began repairs on the vehicles, intending to bring them back to full capabilities.

Nick almost patched up in the aid-station is given new ODST armor and the morphine effects are now completely gone. Nick can think straight again but has forgotten what was happened. "Yo Spartans how did I get inside the aid station?" He wears his new armor, same as the old ODST armor but repaired. Nick walks outside, looks at the OC, a strong leader he can see that. Nick is a hot head ready to defy her orders but not now, not when there's a war to be fought.

Alexander turned upon hearing the Lieutenant, ignoring his Vulture for the first time in a few minutes he saluted her.
"Ma'am, I apologise for not fulfilling my duty as an ODST and more importantly, a pilot. I will give it my all next time in hopes of proving to you I am not one of the worst ODSTs you have ever seen. Given your permission, I'd like to continue working on the Vulture, along with the repair tech, at this moment"

Agapow got to his tank and saw the repair teams repairing it. It feelt good to know that the UNSC seemed to care about the tank. Of course it was an expectednsive piece of equipment and one of the only units capable of going head to head with some covenant forces on the ground but it was still good.

Ares normally monotone voice was more frantic than usual. "Spartan 111 is currently in surgery. I would recommend that he not rejoin the mission. What do you mean prisoner? Spartan 114, you know UNSC policy on prisoners."

Rader loaded the new M6 he got from the armory. He got completely enraged when it refuse to fire. It was almost as if the rounds were duds. He was about ready to do what suicide grunts did, but he wasn't ready to stoop to such a low standard. He would just have to use his knife and sniper rifle, the only weapons of his that seemed to work.

"Very well, put him on the next Pelican up to the ship. We have an ONI officer on board, he can function as our interrogator." Ares cut off the communication with the Spartan, focusing on the surgery of 111.

While the new CO had been addressing everyone Connor had been sitting on top of the ruins of the Tether, looking for potential targets. Now that he knew they were moving out, he clambered into the back of the troop transport Warthog, still scanning the area for targets.

Alex loaded the elite zealot in the pelican for transport to the Harbourmaster. "Don't untie him. The bastard would rather die then be captured so keep him bound at all times." Alex says to the ODSTs onboard before walking over to the troop hog, and waiting for the order to move out.

Sarge was sitting in the warthog's passenger seat, waiting for the mission to start. He was overjoyed to be riding shotgun. Speaking of shotguns, he thought to himself, I need to pick up a few more slugs.

He got up and jogged to the armory so he wouldn't be late.

Lieutenant Smith's comm crackled to life. Ares monotone voice came to life in her ear. "Lieutenant, with the foothold established by Ghost Company the UNSC can regain control of the city. The Covenant forces are retreating North. They seem to be establishing defences in the area surrounding some sort of complex. The Spirit of Fire is requesting our help in assaulting these defences. Our mission is to assist UNSC forces in assaulting Covenant positions on the pole. Load onto Pelicans for redeployment to the pole."

Ghost Company's assets began loading onto Pelicans. The Scorpion was latched to a Pelican and the crew given orders to relocate to Alpha Base. Ghost Company itself was loaded into Pelicans for the journey.

Alex takes his seat in Bravos pelican with his sniper stowed above him, and his rocket launcher in his lap. "Isn't alpha base in the glaciers?" Alex asks.

Pelicans? Darn, I guess I can't ride shotgun, thought Sarge as he got into a seat. Then a thought occurred to him. He set his radio to general broadcast: "Hey everyone! I call shotgun when we get there!"

Bohuslav took his equipment, and strapped himself into the Pelican. He puffed on his cigar that he had yet to finish. The smoke streamed out of his mouth and into the open space in the Pelican, in which the rest of Ghost Company sat. He turned on his radio, speaking into it,

"Hey Sarge, no disrespect, but I'd recommend not shouting on comms about how you've got shotgun."

He then switched off his radio, laughing to himself.

Damien walked into the Pelican, and strapped himself tightly, he had never been on one before, and was as nervous as he had ever been in his entire life. He shook it off, just first time jitters. He didn't really even know anyone, he just kept to himself and minded his own business. He just sat back and closed his eyes, just to try and calm himself.

Sarge turns off his radio and mutes it. He didn't hear Bohuslav's comment.

"Sorry, I just don't tolerate insubordination. Let 'em order you around once and they'll keep doing it."
