Well it would be just rude of me to not miss a member of my roleplay and their characters. But regardless of pleasantries I really did miss having them around. Good and interesting writing styles is actually a fun way to keep people's interests.

Well given that some crews are in the same area as each other I'm gonna say everyone goes to starting positions. I didn't predetermine anything so I would just say to somewhere that each of the crews aren't going to see each other right off the bat.

Russia is meh. Just like the US is meh. Russia only won WW2 because the Germans were led by a moron. The US won WW2 in the pacific because the Japanese military was led by a bunch of morons, and the US doctrine sucked so bad that Britain had to do most of the actual fighting in Europe with the US just getting a couple of key and famous battles.

The modern day Russian military is nothing to brag about and the US military is still doctrinal dysfunctional. Politically both nations are filled with corrupt politicians and over patriotic idiots. If you want the nations that are really great look at the minor nations of Europe.

Switzerland: So bad ass they haven't fought a war in at least the past century.

Finland: So bad ass Russia declared war on them twice, and they still didn't loose. Not to mention Simo Häyhä makes Vasily Zaytsev look like your average sniper. Or that time that 45,000 Russian mechanized troops were defeated by 11,000 Fins on skies.

England: Had one of the greatest empires on the planet and won both World Wars and their still going strong.

Sweden: Had one of the greatest empires on the planet (it fell because the last King of Sweden was a moron), they managed to stay neutral in WW2 and today they have some of the best military hardware.

Germany: Yes they may have lost both World Wars, but they only lost the first one because they made several stupid decisions that dragged the US into the war. The arrival of fresh soldiers overpowered the Germans in terms of morale. In WW2 they had some of the best equipment around, and the only reason they lost was because they were led by a bunch of morons. The panther tank was more than a match for anything the Russians could throw at it, but Hitler forced the designers to add so much armor and other necessary complex stuff on it that it was extremely dysfunctional. Today they are still one of the most technologically advanced nations and if you compare anything the Russians have to what the Germans have, you'll find the Germans (and most of Europe) have the edge. Hell the Army of the EU could probably rival the US Army.

So those my friends are the nations that are more bad ass than Russia. There are probably more, but I can't think of them.
