Ah the Matilda.. That tank was fun. Shrugging off most rounds while dishing out penetrating shots every time~

The only thing that can penetrate the Matilda effectively from the side was my fully upgraded Hetzer........

My Lee was alright, but I got killed faster than I can fire my shots effectively. The T-28 was dying before it could flank, and my Type 1, I would just run away....

And the Hetzer! With such lovely early sloping armor that only big guns could actually penetrate it. Hated it's speed though, until the top upgrade.

Yeah, the most fun Tier 4 TD to play in my opinion.

The T40 wasn't that bad too though.

Yeah it wasn't bad, had a nice traverse. But really high profile and paper thin armor.

The guns were what appealed to me, but unfortunately I stopped there, because I was starting to grind and I didn't that that it was worth t for the Wolverine....

I was disappointed in the Wolverine. The armor didn't protect from quite literally anything.

Course then again, I did play the 360 Edition. So I probably didn't experience it as well as I could have.

Yeah, I had fun times going against the Wolverine with the 105mm Sherman. :lol2:

Well the gun mantelet was alright, until you get to higher tiered matches .......

I think in the 360 Edition the 76mm top gun was under powered.

I always preferred the 57mm or the 105mm over the 76mm Top.

Penetration or Alpha was my choice.

I always prefer to be able to penetrate. Although I do like having a high alpha damage. Cause I loved the 7.5cm L/100 on the Panther, but my problem was it didn't pack enough punch to fight with similar tier tanks. So I always just sat as far as I could and just sniped. Although with the recent updates accuracy has become ridiculous so it's rather hard.

Aren't most German vehicles meant to be a sniper role in the teams?

Some yeah, but I would say a tank like the Tiger or Tiger II would be good at assaulting and sniping. Even tanks like the Panther II was pretty good at assaulting, although the tanks I went up against in my Panther II always shot me with lightning so it was pretty pointless.. I tried the 105 and the accuracy was almost as bad as the 122's.

I have given up on the German tree except for the TD along time ago, the only I kept that's an actual is the Panzer III Ausf. A with a short-barreled 5.0 cm L/46.5 (I'm not sure if I got that right....)

Ha ha very funny. That's a maximum time frame. Since this post will leagues shorter than the one I wrote for the SW role play I can almost guarantee that its not going to take that long.

Ah, the Panzer III A. One of my favorites! That speed gave me many successful charges, speeding straight by enemy lines and blasting tanks from the rear.

Yeah, it's awesome against Arties when you have the 2 cm......... I love it for that.

But with the 5 cm, I got my first Tier 3 Top Gun.

Ah, it's my favorite tank so far..........

Yeah I think with the German light tanks from that all the way up to the Leopard scout tank the autocannons are always the best bet. I take the Luchs in to T4 games and just dominate with the 30mm top gun. It's one hell of a beast, the reload takes a while, but if it didn't it would definitely be overpowered.

I hated the T-34(shocker I know), the top gun was awful cause it didn't penetrate anything, and the 57mm I could penetrate but barely do any damage to enemy medium and heavy tanks.

Also hate that the reload on the 57mm is slower if not the same speed of a Pz IV 7.5cm

I put on crew ventilation for my T-34. Dat <2 second reload speed.

I love the 57mm gun on the PC version. Thing fires like 20 something rounds a minute.

I'd still prefer the Panzer IV over the T-34. Since the Panzer IV has a greater effective range and more armor.
