Assuming they get in a close enough range to fire at one another, the L3 with a 37 mm gun (or even the 20 mm Solothurn) would just as easily take out a Tetrach as the other way around. It's smaller profile and speed (which may not be as impressive as the Tetrach's but is still enough to make it nimble) would make it hard to hit.

Would be hard to dodge 500+ rounds per minute with each one capable of penetrating though.

600rpm if you have a Dushka, but Dushka's are less accurate than M2HB's.

M2HB's also have an ROF of around 600 IIRC.

Also this italian tankette has no turret. Tetrach does.

When I looked it up it said it had an ROF of 485-635.

Cause none ever did. But the jeeps did. You might as well just take a jeep to a tankette fight, you'd probably be better off.

Hardly. The tank itself barely has any armor, a little less on the turret isn't gonna make much of a difference, and honestly the advantages of a turret far outway the disadvantages. In this scenario we have imagined the Tetrach doesn't need to turn its whole tank in order to engage, they just have to turn the turret.

It makes it a bigger target. The 20 mm Solothurn and 37 mm would both easily rip the thing to shreds within 500 meters. The same is true for the Tetrarch's weapon, but the L3 is only 4.3, and assuming the terrain isn't a wasteland where nothing grows, it would probably only be seen within 100 - 500 meters, exactly where it needs to be to penetrate it.
