It is still invalid. You are implying you can get the ring and go to Mount Doom. But the only reason Frodo got to Mount Doom was because of the Battle of the Black Gate. And this is assuming Sauron loses at Minas Tirith. However this could go the complete other way and Sauron could win so unless Frodo can get into Barad-Dur, cut the ring from Sauron's hand, leave, and walk to Mount Doom then Sauron will be a lot stronger and harder to beat.

You were implying Sauron can be defeated by having Frodo throw the ring into Mt. Doom. This was only possible because one The Battle of the Black Gate, and two because Sauron lost the Siege of Gondor. I was only pointing out that things could not go that way and you couldn't sneak in undetected.
