In this "Who has the longer pike debate" (Aka the Middle Earth equivalent of who has the longer...well you get the picture) Wouldn't a pike be constructed to best suit the user relative to their size. For example, a troll pikeman would have a pike that would be larger then people etc.
Theoretically speaking; The Easterlings should have longer pikes, however this doesn't make the dwarf ones weaker

Just reposting this with an addition. The addition being the last line.

The thing is that the dwarves don't carry the pikes but the men of Dale are carrying them.

I read on the wiki that in Far Harad there are half trolls dwelling there, and since Ugnutz is encouraging troll nationalism by migrating to a new, much bigger realm, i was wondering if perhaps some Half-trolls could make the journey to the new troll nation? Like they could be my footsoldiers since orks are too OP to have as regular forces.

I'm used to make a smilie without first hitting spacebar so... And yes Dwarves have limits and had their glory days, so does Mordor...
