Whoever owns Ireland or Scotland, would it be okay if in awhile I buy a very small piece of land on the Northern part of your country? Really just enough to have a small harbor town. I see that the Mexican guy is lonely and would like to use a town in Ireland or Scotland to be a stepping stone to Iceland then Greenland then Canadia and it goes on from that.

Also, Horus I want to invent printing press soon. Not the movable type one, I knoe that would be over-powered. I mean how the Chinese invented it, with cipping letter into a block of wood and dipping it in ink and than pressing it to a page. It's much faster than hand-written books, but nthing like movable type.

Don't hurry with traveling to the Americas. Early settlements will fail, and you don't even know that something exists there, yet.

The reason I know the Britodh isles are islands is because Rylonians are smart. They get that most if the world is water. So when they discover a peninsula their first guess is "must be an island!"

Also, the British Isles aren't important to me now. I'm going to focus on non militarily exerting my dominance over the Mediterranean with my navy, culture, and religion. Not my army because that was Rome's undoing. Then, probably by the 1700's, I'll politely ask everyone to be my vassal. Since m religion and culture will be dominant, I expect to have a lot of people agree. If I do get into a war, I'll use my technology to easily win. Right now and for about the next couple weeks that means steel and crossbows. Then it'll mean gunpowder, then railroads, then high explosives, then missiles, then satellites, then lasers, etc. So, anyone want to trade?
