New IC's are a given, but its the OOC i was talking about, I was a bit confused when I first came here.

I feel it is crucial. The op doesn't even have the current IC post and since you were left in charge I do not think the op that went inactive would care. I mean since you are going inactive for a week to a month it might seem pointless for now but how about you can create a brand new NS nation to post the op with that Allen and Neo, the Co-Op's know the password to so that they can update in your abscence.

I do not agree with the new nation thing. It just makes things complicated.

This is 600 AD...literacy should not be so high. It wasn't ecen until the 1000's that literacy really hit so high, and that waz considered impressive. I noticed so far at least three of us have very high literacy among other things, myself included.

Reatre or whatever. His literacy ratr is about 96 I read. I doubt anything above 75 is likely, much lower the more nomadic.

No idea as I do not know more about the era. On the plus my nation is relatively urban by about thirty percent, with schooling is the norm. The alphabet is easy, at least compared the scripts used in the rest of Asia. By 900 AD these led to a high literacy rate, at least high in the view of Chinese scholars. Anyway the term GDP really shouldn't be used and even if the idea that a nation's whole GDP is used for something is unrealistic.

Literacy rose rapidly as ancient culture developed, peaking with the Romans (in Europe) then everything went to crap, and literacy fell again.
However, the Roman literacy was only about 75% I think, so try to keep stuff like that in mind.
