Personality: Despite his apparent outside personality, he has a darker streak, and that part of him can be shockingly manipulative, cold and ruthless, evidently contrasting with the usual appearance of a Soul Reaper who's relatively shy and tries to appear calm, and helpful. He also tries to not get in the way of others who loose their temper, and who have the habit of commanding those around them. Might also be a bit uncomfortable around women.
Powers: Super strength, speed, durability, endurance, agility, pseudo-flight, Kidō expert, Zanjutsu expert (art of the sword), Hakuda practitioner (hand-to-hand combat), Shunpo expert (speed enhancement technique), the ability to use Reiryoku and exert it as Reiatsu (used to increase the user's offensive power and defensive abilities), can sense beings with Reiatsu, the ability to use Shikai and Bankai (upgrades that increase his Reiatsu) with his Zanpakuto- Jigoku no Kīmasutā. Said Zanpakuto has quite a number of powers indeed. Also has Hollowfication.

Bio: The wielder of Jigoku no Kīmasutā is Kinji, a young man with dark hair, purple eyes, and not what you would call the most imposing appearance. He is usually soft spoken and shy, though he can seem more serious in battle. Though appearing to be kind, timid and weak Kinji has a darker nature that few know about. Though he tries to deny it, his zanpakuto is a reflection of his dark nature, and so he often does not carry it. Despite this Kinji is in constant contact with his zanpakuto through its apportation ability, which he considers a curse despite its obvious usefulness. As a side effect of Jigoku no Kīmasutā’s apportation ability Kinji is also in constant contact with the spirit of his zanpakuto, which constantly temps Kinji to act on his dark nature.


Kinji joined the fourth squad to avoid combat and to repress his dark nature. He was born in Rukongai, and had a rather adventurous childhood, finding himself all over the Soul Society, in the time to come. Kinji may have been mistreated during his youth, causing him to develop two separate personalities, as well as put up a bit a front towards most people, and seem distant, and shy, quite a fair deal of the time. It also spurred him on to become a Soul Reaper, wanting to make sure he could protect himself and others that he'd been unable to help. Though another part of Kinji wanted him to become stronger so that he could destroy anyone who tried to hurt him. He practised regularly in fighting, even before he became a Soul Reaper, and as such, once encountered and successfully defeated a Hollow raiding a village, by himself, which attracted the interest of some nearby Soul Reapers.

One of them saw the potential he possessed, and the considerable untapped reiatsu inside him. Kinji soon found himself signed up, and progressed steadily and rather skilfully through the training, before shortly becoming a Soul Reaper, assigned to squad 4. There may have been an event at one point, in which another Soul Reaper attempted to bully him, and resorted to violence. At which point, Kinji inadvertently struck back, and killed the man. Despite a following investigation into the incident, the darker facet of Kinji's personality that was in control, skilfully removed any evidence pointing towards him, and the case was never answered. This was part of the darker side to Kinji's past, and is one of the reasons he tries not to use his zanpakuto, and get involved in fighting, these days. He excels at kido, in part because he dislikes using his zanpakuto, though he's by no means unskilled with a blade, he fears it may end up awakening the darker side of him. He also possesses considerable skill with flashstep and to a fair degree, hand-to-hand combat as well. Despite being a member of the fourth squad, Kinji is not hassled by members of other squads who, for some reason, are inexplicably afraid of him. Though not as much as they fear Unohana, of course. At one point, he was bitten by the Hollow known as White, and ended up gaining Hollowfication abilities. That of course, he rarely uses, and has kept a secret from everyone else among the Soul Reapers.


Despite his best efforts Kinji is unable to completely disguise his nature from other people, as he frequently gives them the creeps. This has manifested as wounded individuals attempting to leave his care in order to avoid him. Though this fear is unsupported by Kinji's behaviour he seems to radiate malicious intent. Hence, his position in the fourth squad is a rather odd one at that. Despite his not being a captain, his reiatsu is much stronger than one might expect. Even then, that's only because he constantly masks a considerable deal of it, not wanting to attract adversaries searching for a powerful opponent.

There's probably quite a bit more to the story that I can expand upon, so don't expect that to be the whole deal. It's merely what I can think up for now. Extra detail will be found in the IC.

Personality: Combine the sly scheming personality of Gin Ichimaru with the bloodthirsty, not particularly sane mentality of Kenpachi Zaraki. He can be fairly arrogant, and is unlikely to stop seeking more power. He can befriend people, make them feel safe, then stab them in the back for as little reason as the sake of killing in itself.
Powers: Skilled with most weapons, particularly swords. Possesses elder magic of dark, demonic and necromantic nature, and blood magic, of course, manipulating reality itself to to certain degree. Though that mainly works only within his own realms. Ability to change his appearance, so I suppose it could be called shape-shifting. Can corrupt/taint things/people/places/planes of existence.. Can astral project, communicate telepathically, and a few things of that nature. Drain energy, teleport, nether manipulation, summon creatures/people that serve him, control and manipulative shadow/darkness, etc, etc. Can use the full power of C'threk Goru.

Bio: Once, this god wasn't so bad. Sakalthôr was born like many other gods, a very, long time ago, and had travelled to many realms of existence in his time. Now, he's fallen a long way, after having been corrupted by something in the ruins of a city, ancient even in that time, that Sakalthôr found himself in after having entered the mortal realm. That place was said to have been a fragment from a realm of shadow once ruled by a great and powerful dark being, that in rage destroyed that realm, and smote it into many parts, scattering the realm across many others. Sakalthôr became a feared god, prone to causing the ruination of empires, and death of many. Somehow, he was trapped. A divinely made device weakened him and trapped him for several centuries in the ancient northern stronghold of Vaagenfjord, a place enwreathed in eternal winter, where sunlight was not so common a sight as could be expected elsewhere.

Needless to say, those that tricked and trapped him there are long since gone, and over centuries of his influence having been exerted in the surrounding area, it resembles a black citadel, with a hell-scape contrasting with the snowy lands further away. Any nearby settlements have fallen under his sway over time, and they made sacrifices, fanatical under his name, as they were. Those blood sacrifices increased his power, and was freed recently, with the means of entrapment destroyed as his power became strong. Not long after, an organisation of warriors, assassins, mages and sorcerers alike, and all manner of of bloodthirsty individuals, was formed. At a place named Hallowfell, they swore allegiance and servitude to him, and became known as the Hallowfell Alignment. They are primarily lead by high priests of his, who could be considered extensions of his will. He has spread his influence, as well as his trademark chaos and destruction in several planes of existence, and seeks to grow in power from conquering yet more realms of existence.
