There will also be a separate thread that will act as an encyclopedia to the world, and will include info about history, weapons, vehicles, and character applications. Weapons will be encouraged to be from our era, just to make it easy on naming.

True, but if you're going for something PL-esque, you shouldn't alienate characters by appearance.

Nekos are fine, since they're generally more explainable; NA's doing something where a corporate enterprise fooled around with DNA off on a fringe world, I think, to explain why he's using Albert and Jacob.

...Well, Lamia might work. You'd just have to find a good explanation for it.

It'll be a fringe station, looking rustic on the outside and not much better on the inside. Favorite stop of truckers, salvagers, criminal scum and ship crews this side of the 'verse.

New Ziyang's residents generally won't care too much about appearances, although they might turn their heads if you're an alien. Alien life isn't really known in the universe and isn't officially accepted, although they've been rumored on the fringes of human territory.

If I remember right, NA's backstory is that the corporation that was experimenting around with the Neko stuff owns a station above a colony world they're trying to get going. Albert once worked for them as a member of their security force and Jacob as a chef, but Albert ended up making a decision that angered a vast amount of the board of directors. Octavian (being the head of the board) decided that as punishment, he would send both brothers to the New Ziyang office to spruce it up, really just making Albert and Jacob the only two employees of the corporation on NZS.

Neither of them are personifications this time 'round, and we're having it so that it's a week after they arrived. Ray ('cause I wanted to bring him in too) met them on a flight to NZS and shacked up with Albert that way; he fought within the (story-important) Yasudan Rebellion on the side of the DU as an infantry officer, and retired soon after his two years were up.

Also, what sounds like better naming for the security force of the PL-space RP?
-New Ziyang Police Department (NZPD; a single, station-wide and unified police department responsible for all 2-7 million lives on board)
-New Ziyang Security Force (NZSF; paramilitary, station-wide and unified police department)
-New Ziyang Station Security (NZSS or S-Sec; paramilitary, station-wide body separated into different police departments for each district)
