Goodnight to all those leaving, including myself.

Goodnight, Swith.

Ah, goodnight to you as well, Swith. Will I see you tomorrow?

Oh, of course. We should have coffee.

Indeed! Well, then, goodnight and don't forget to turn out the downstairs light.

Oh bother! I'm glad I reminded myself to do that.

Thank you. Except for my dreadful grammar, which I've corrected. I normally wouldn't complain but she's a smelly old thing - I really hate having to set her straight.

Naturally I see your point. An admirable accomplishment, albeit.

Iridescent puppies stream through the owlsight and I flip them a jelly bean before continuing on my path. I don't know where I'm going, save only that no man has gone there before. Plenty of women have, however, and they've left a trail of flyers advertising half off on beach sandals. I pass under their overpass and silently slip eels into NVE's hovercraft while he's occupied with his mummified butterfly collection. I don't know why anyone would solicit for mummified butterflies. Really, I just donated at the shop down the way and I haven't any spare wings to slip into his jar. Alas for him! I've left him pocket lint and a 1940's NYC subway token in appreciation of my infatuation with his largish sickles and sharpish teeth. Thus I pass through the prismatic gateway from consciousness into surreal. Lovely knight, wot? He wasn't happy when I dented his armor.

Why am I still awake....

Anyway, I used my insomnia tonight to actually get something done. Namely I updated my physical map of the version of Earth my nation exists on, and I made a political subdivision map for my nation.....

eh.... I think its cool....

I actually made maps on notebook paper when school was going on, but never got around to actually making them in paint until now....

Gratz!

I
Have a summer course.

So far it's really easy so I'll pro'lly be done in about a week. Then I have two more summer courses.

I hate failing.

So, um, how are you doing? No mortal injuries from the yard-work?

Nope, almost got smacked in the face with a rose stem though. That would have made my day pretty shitty.

I almost failed Algebra.

Well, at least, um, the air in front of your face smelled like roses briefly? I guess that could be a bright side if you like the smell of roses...

Algebra's really hard initially, though. =( At least you have a reason. I failed freakin' chemistry and grade eleven physical education.

I got a C in freshman PE........ lowest grade I've ever gotten..... and I only got it because I argued it wasn't fair for all the good kids to always be on one team...

Em, I feel bad for bragging, but I only got B's in Spanish and Algebra. Everything else was an A.

That was last year... I got all As but in German, which was a high B(less than one percentage point from an A)

That was me last year. I got honour-roll with distinction. Unfortunately, last year I was in a private school for people who had been having problems learning elsewhere. I'd been there three years. The transition back into a normal school was more than a little jarring, and furthermore the teachers here were instructed to be as hands-off as possible to prepare the students for university.

The only foreign language class at my school is Spanish, and it's mandatory....

Damn foreigners. If I had my way, we'd only have English.

Anyway....Hello~

I took Spanish because my paternal half of the family just recently realized that they probably made a mistake with neglecting to teach any of the children of my generation how to speak it (they're Puerto Rican and got lazy around this batch of kids in that aspect, I guess), so it was either that or have them try to teach me. And that really wouldn't be fun, I don't think they'd be very good teachers.

I learned French because one of the two schools within walking distance of my old house was French Immersion, and I'd left the old one because of reasons.

I can't even learn Greek from my Greek side of the family...I only know one or two Greek relatives who may speak English...and only one person in my county knows any Greek..
