Urran... when it comes to Naomi... she didn't want Prim to die, and she walked out to talk to Hastur (Cthulhu mythos) and not only was able to withstand his projection of insanity, but felt a pang for the dark god/demigod's plight and loved him simply because he had a desire to be allowed to exist in the PLverse. Naomi sees through everything, and loves in return. Unless her friends are threatened. Love protects. Naomi might think golf balls are eggs, but her gentle nature is matched by a flipside insanity.

Now that I'm thinking back on it, besides destroying an entire plain during a severe depression, I think she kicked Superbia's ass when he ate Aleki. I need to play this quirky character more.

Dammit, stop tempting me to go all 'challgenge accepted'. I already intend to go grimdark with Ozzall for a short stint and give him a complete emotional shattering and re-shaping, but last I need is something to tempt me to good full evil.

Really, the rules on these forums can be a drag. Going full evil would be so much damn fun, but you could never do it here.

Guys... we explained this to Bran way back in the day, so he can probably give you input.

Foreign solders are just that... foreign soldiers. We have one instance coming up where they're being allowed (cleared with Cer) for a specific task. Another instance was prearranged with GT for his finale. Do NOT bring foreign soldiers into the game otherwise unless they are tourists, by invite of the Bielefeld, or here delivering messages, etc. They were permitted if there was an embassy but we've done away with those (except Prim's since his characters are set up as ambassadors and don't bring in soldiers.)

It would make sense to have some sort of security detail but nearly all of our emperors etc have just one or two PCs with military affiliation (Aleki and Khro for example). Think more along the lines of "secret service" personnel.

Bielefeld has a standing army. It has a reserve. It has citizens who can be activated to form a militia. On top of that, it has a full police force (supplemented by soldiers contracted by the government which are OP tools.) Occupation is 100% frowned upon.

Well I've still got my Imperial Embassy up, which more or less serves as a hub for Ozzall and his Empire stuff with the rest of it being in high orbit/deepspace space station the Empire has in the system for fuel and docking.

Technically I'm in a different dimension where the continents and landmasses look different so I would be in the middle of a vast ocean between to large continents. In a real world map like what Bran and I did, it would be Japan. But it's supposed to be shaped like New Zealand and surrounded by numerous smaller islands. why?

My Witherward is very close to Japan.

It'll explain further. The island we use for Crucible is very similar to my own, only mine is larger and has a ring of smaller islands around it. (which keep the Deadlies from escaping). It's phasic, which means it has a physical presence for tourists (the backbone of our economy) but also a layer which transcends beyond this plain.

If the BranRiech, which are land grabbers... if they put a base there, it puts them within striking distance of my Witherward. Seeing how Bodkins is a representative, he'd offer your government support in order to avoid occupation of your island.

Hmmmm. Very interesting. I have two allies total (everyone else hates my nation for being non-human and capitalist) so technically the "Triple Alliance" as we call ourselves, should have crushed bran, but on the thread we did the war on, he barred anyone else from joining, thus leaving me to face a nation 4 times my size completely alone.

But, i guess when you look at would could have happened, I did fairly well because I had the home field advantage and a superior navy that stopped some of his airpower and landing forces.

We already agreed on the terms of the war's end.

I get:

-A base for refueling our Pacific Fleet, as well as a small airfield for supplies. All we get is the right to dock our warships, refuel, and then leave again. As well as transport planes and helicopters to land at the base, delivering supplies and such.

Urran got:

-Full rights to have inspections of the base, to check for anything unacceptable (Nuclear armed subs, other types of WMD's and things)

-The right to forbid any other troop movements in the area.

Bran, prepare for pain. Muahahaha I absolutely love you as a person, but your nation is a nasty piece of work and the Triumviratus won't risk your nation's often ill-thought-out decisions. That base is too close for comfort based upon past history. Your nation has the potential and the means to attack us.
