He's a great cook due to his heritage and the sheer amount of time he's had to practice. He can only be killed if his nation falls apart or by others, not by natural causes. He's also a great cook and can read in many languages(Latin, English, Greek, and German) and speak said languages fluently.
Character Weaknesses/Flaws: He's a pacifist(or at least tries to be), and sometimes is too polite for his own good. While he doesn't age and is immune to most diseases, he can be killed by people, but not very easily. He is very weak and doesn't know how to fight in the least. He will still defend people with his limited ability if they are his friends, leading to him getting into pretty dangerous situations due to that. Despite his normal calm and collected demeanor, he can get angry easily, especially when people are being stupid and especially from his brother.

Character Background: Jacob, along with his twin brother Albert, are both personifications of the nation of Aksarben. Jacob is the personification of the lower classes, along with the more democratic and liberal parts of his nation. Jacob is a descendent of the Roman Empire, who still likes to visit and bother the twin brothers from time to time. Mainly because he's proud of how powerful they have become after his arrogance and stupidity had nearly wiped out humanity by provoking a nuclear war (something he will admit was a bad thing to do in hindsight). While still being fundamentally Roman in nature, Jacob is also very much similar to ancient Greece, especially in his conception of what makes a good government (democratic, with all citizens getting a say in policy).

The brothers (and Octavian) come from an alternate universe from the one that the building exists in, one where the Roman Empire managed to survive, at first barely, loosing all their possessions outside of Italy and Greece before reconquering Europe after the barbarian nations had fully settled. The line of Emperors never terminated in the west with Romulus Augustus, and the Empire was never split into two parts, but had co-emperors until a great civil war between the two halves reunited them under the western, more Latin half of the Empire. As technology improved communication between the reduced, but still quite large Roman Empire, they began to conquer their former territories.

By the modern era, Rome had not only reconquered their former territories, but the majority of Europe with the exception of Scandinavia and the territories of Great Moravia and the Grand Duchy of Rus'. Rome's colonies in Africa extended down to Lake Victoria along the Nile, and to the border of the Congo along the west coast of Africa, controlling everything above that point. in Asia, Roman control extended to India, including the territories along the Indus, but Rome failed to push any farther.

In the 2070s, after years of arguments and rising tensions, Rome declared war on all its enemies, including the powerful United States of New Britannia on the continent of Alexandria(otherwise known as the Americas). It quickly escalated (due to there never being a Geneva convention and many of the things that stabilize our world and prevent nations using their full force), and nuclear fire destroyed much of the world.

Many years, more than anyone could remember, nations began forming out of the dust of the old, and the Brothers appeared outside of Aksarben City shortly after its conception. The next 4,000 years were mostly boring, considering that the most interesting thing that happened to Jacob was that he was killed by Albert(leading to their situation where they shared a body for a few thousand years) for some reason or another, similar to the feud between Romulus and Remus. This lead to their nation becoming unstable as it transitioned to a full Empire, instead of a mix of a democratic government with a monarchy. This would lead to Albert and Jacob trying to become the dominant side of their nation, by fighting mentally.

Until the Grand Revolution, the balance was always in favor of Albert, but then Jacob took control, making his nation a full democracy with an oligarchic government. He remained the dominant side until he happened to fall into a hole created by the raptors into the universe of the Building, and a month or two later, nearly die from a crazy guy, allowing Albert to take over again. Shortly after that, the raptors created a cloned body for Jacob, so the two could be separate again.

Jacob has had many good times, bad times, and near deaths while at the Building, but despite the insanity of it, he has grown to love living there. His favorite part about living in the universe of the building was that you could hardly expect who you might meet, or what might happen next.

Additional Notes: He also represents the side of his nation focused more on outer space and exploring the cosmos, and the scientific side.

He knows how to fight, due to doing so for so long. He is a very good fighter, both hand to hand and with weapons, and understands how to use a variety, from guns, to ancient weapons like the sword or gunpowder weapons. He's a natural soldier, and has no qualms with killing if it is necessary.

He also tends to be a bit racist to non-humans, especially lamia, as his nation has been at war with a species of Lamia from the Alpha Centauri system for a very long time, after they completely wiped out a colony and space station of Aksarben that had been built in the system with no warning.

Since his arrival at the universe of the Apartment Building, and regaining his own body, he has had trouble understanding some of the random things that happen, and why people seem to be so crazy or impulsive there. Gio helped him relax a little bit, and became his first real friend for the longest time. He met his boyfriend, Ray, shortly afterwards, and fell in love with him after getting drunk, but it took him a while to be able to admit that, as he wasn't used to expressing his feelings. He has begun trying to be more polite and less blunt about how he goes about speaking with people, but has been having a difficult time doing so.

He's intelligent, and is able to mentally withstand most supernatural entities due to his experience as director of ACF. His lack of empathy and remorse makes him ruthless and willing to do anything to win. He can also be polite and nice when he tries, due to his training as a diplomat and ruler. He also has better senses than most humans.
Character Weaknesses/Flaws: very overconfident, selfish, likes to taunt and mess with people, doesn't let go of grudges and hates being outclassed, very much a spoiled brat and expects people to do what he says, when he says it, and freaks out when he doesn't get his way when he tells people to do things. He also likes to hurt others for his own amusement, especially when they annoy him. Has little to no empathy for others. He also tends to run away when things get too intense.
Character Background: Octavian is the heir to Aksarben, and was raised as such. That lead to him being a self-centered ass that is overconfident and annoying. He was appointed as the director of the Aksarben Containment Foundation, or ACF, by his father later on in his life. The ACF if a parallel version of the SCP foundation in the universe of Aksarben and their version of the Earth.He was taught how to speak all the languages of his nation, the official being Latin along with English and German, in preparation for his ascension to the throne. He was taught to be a diplomat and a ruler, thinking of his people above everything. He was also taught military tactics and how to fight. He joined the military once he was old enough, and due to his position, was made one of the highest generals.

He was sent to the PL universe from his own by his father, to keep the Prince safe. Due tensions between nations in their universes becoming higher, it was more likely that war was going to break out between Aksarben and its enemies. The Emperor wished for his son to be safe, and learn to get along with other people by putting him in a strange environment, so he sent his son through the recently invented Universal Gateways, Aksarben's answer to traveling between universes, and so Octavian arrived shortly after the group returned from vacation on Gilese. He's made a few friends, but also some enemies, mainly Yuri, the personification of Urran.
Additional Notes: intensely Loyal to those who he believes deserve it, has access to any resource of Aksarben within reason. His father wouldn't give him an army or something like that, but possibly a few squads of soldiers, or advanced tech. Can use ACF objects to his advantage, like #500, for healing. No qualms with experimenting/killing his friends or anyone for that matter. Also see Jacob's bio for the other details of where he came from.

Character Background: Sigtrygg is a prince of the kingdom of Finland in the Late Tenth century AD. He is from an alternate history of Earth, diverging sometime in the late 800s. He is the brother to the current King, Faste Karlsson. He was born to the then Duke Karl the Wise of the Duchy of Norrland.(Karl later declared himself the king of Finland following the civil war due to the King of Sweden's conversion to Catholicism). He grew up, tutored by his father for years until he was of age. Then, he was married to Princess Yvla of the Norse kingdom of England. He learned English from her, due to having not much else besides raiding and pillaging to take up his time. He left for Miklagard in 950 AD, to join the Varangian guard. He was never going to inherit anything, so he had nothing to lose by joining the guard of the Byzantine Empire. He fought bravely for years, distinguishing himself against the enemies of the Emperor. During this time, he learned to speak some Greek, to make his life easier.

During a battle against the Abbasid Caliphate, Sigtrygg disappeared, and was presumed dead by his family back in Scandinavia. In truth, he was somehow transported across time and space to the universe of the apartment building. The Norse viking is very disoriented, and likely have trouble understanding how the modern world worked, due to the fact he lived in a feudal Norse society. He is quite cynical, ambitious, and gregarious, but also very kind and charitable. He is still a viking however, and an experienced fighter. He has the remarkable ability to be able to adapt to knew situations easily.

A viking that was dragged across space and time to the world of the Apartment Building by the raptor children, Sig is a kind, generous, and helpful man, but can be very cynical and ambitious if he feels the need to. He's intelligent, and is able to mentally withstand most supernatural entities due to his experience as director of ACF. His lack of empathy and remorse makes him ruthless and willing to do anything to win. He can also be polite and nice when he tries, due to his training as a diplomat and ruler. He also has better senses than most humans.
Character Weaknesses/Flaws: very overconfident, selfish, likes to taunt and mess with people, doesn't let go of grudges and hates being outclassed, very much a spoiled brat and expects people to do what he says, when he says it, and freaks out when he doesn't get his way when he tells people to do things. He also likes to hurt others for his own amusement, especially when they annoy him. Has little to no empathy for others. He also tends to run away when things get too intense.
Character Background: Octavian is the heir to Aksarben, and was raised as such. That lead to him being a self-centered ass that is overconfident and annoying. He was appointed as the director of the Aksarben Containment Foundation, or ACF, by his father later on in his life. The ACF if a parallel version of the SCP foundation in the universe of Aksarben and their version of the Earth.He was taught how to speak all the languages of his nation, the official being Latin along with English and German, in preparation for his ascension to the throne. He was taught to be a diplomat and a ruler, thinking of his people above everything. He was also taught military tactics and how to fight. He joined the military once he was old enough, and due to his position, was made one of the highest generals.

He was sent to the PL universe from his own by his father, to keep the Prince safe. Due tensions between nations in their universes becoming higher, it was more likely that war was going to break out between Aksarben and its enemies. The Emperor wished for his son to be safe, and learn to get along with other people by putting him in a strange environment, so he sent his son through the recently invented Universal Gateways, Aksarben's answer to traveling between universes, and so Octavian arrived shortly after the group returned from vacation on Gilese. He's made a few friends, but also some enemies, mainly Yuri, the personification of Urran.
Additional Notes: intensely Loyal to those who he believes deserve it, has access to any resource of Aksarben within reason. His father wouldn't give him an army or something like that, but possibly a few squads of soldiers, or advanced tech. Can use ACF objects to his advantage, like #500, for healing. No qualms with experimenting/killing his friends or anyone for that matter. Also see Jacob's bio for the other details of where he came from.

He is the crown prince of Aksarben. He is usually serious, and somewhat cold. He doesn't really care for anyone but himself. He has a hard time making friends and understanding others. Character Background: Sigtrygg is a prince of the kingdom of Finland in the Late Tenth century AD. He is from an alternate history of Earth, diverging sometime in the late 800s. He is the brother to the current King, Faste Karlsson. He was born to the then Duke Karl the Wise of the Duchy of Norrland.(Karl later declared himself the king of Finland following the civil war due to the King of Sweden's conversion to Catholicism). He grew up, tutored by his father for years until he was of age. Then, he was married to Princess Yvla of the Norse kingdom of England. He learned English from her, due to having not much else besides raiding and pillaging to take up his time. He left for Miklagard in 950 AD, to join the Varangian guard. He was never going to inherit anything, so he had nothing to lose by joining the guard of the Byzantine Empire. He fought bravely for years, distinguishing himself against the enemies of the Emperor. During this time, he learned to speak some Greek, to make his life easier.

During a battle against the Abbasid Caliphate, Sigtrygg disappeared, and was presumed dead by his family back in Scandinavia. In truth, he was somehow transported across time and space to the universe of the apartment building. The Norse viking is very disoriented, and likely have trouble understanding how the modern world worked, due to the fact he lived in a feudal Norse society. He is quite cynical, ambitious, and gregarious, but also very kind and charitable. He is still a viking however, and an experienced fighter. He has the remarkable ability to be able to adapt to knew situations easily.
Additional Notes: Very heavy Swedish accent, making him difficult to understand by most people

A viking that was dragged across space and time to the world of the Apartment Building by the raptor children, Sig is a kind, generous, and helpful man, but can be very cynical and ambitious if he feels the need to. He doesn't understand modern technology, or most things about culture and society in this time. He follows a reformed version of Astaru, the Norse religion. He lives on the 5th floor of the building, in a room styled after a typical home in his homeland. He speaks English, but not very much of it, and doesn't know how to read the language.

Microsoft Paint is my best friend for mapmaking (I think that's what it's called. It came with the computer). I've got Photoshop as well and I use that to smooth out the finished product. Have you tried either of those?
