As someone who has experienced many Sue's, and done much research on Sue's, since about age 10, I can probably safely say that I'm pretty good at sniffing them out by now. Unfortunately, there is something of a rise in the belief that as long as a character isn't a sparkly-poo, it's not a Sue, which is false. On the contrary, the most Sue's I've ever encountered are all either Sympathy Sue's, Jerk Sue's, Villain Sue's, or a combination of all three, and a high amount of wangst is usually involved. Char!Swith is balanced in that she does not use what she can do as a way of getting whatever she wants, nor does she unnecessarily condescend people, her sufferings happened understandably rather than coming across as a huge pile-up of random craptastic experiences in order to garner sympathy, you do not try to give half-assed excuses as to why her "evil" traits are something she can't be criticized for, and there are ways to beat her, even if it is not easy.

She's able to be curb stomped, but it takes a clever player to do it. Dab's gender-bender bombs totally mess with her matrix (and killed it once already). Plus, no matter how powerful a character is, they should be governed by their personality and not by their powers. Swith hates what she is. When she loses control (ie, when I use her as an OP/Co-OP tool), she goes through a bit of depression because it shatters her new-found perception of herself. She can't ever be mortal, but she'd rather live as a mortal lives and experience things from their perspective.

Although... it sucks! I miss out on so much fun stuff! Like gender-bends, body switches, possessions, Sandman's sand, and some of the good drama that goes into "help me... I've been shot!" At least she was able to get her ass handed to her during the Drone Invasion (loved that!) and she falls for pranks fairly easily. One day, I'll "open up the throttle" and play her at full power for grins... but not now, and not in the near future.

Swith seldom uses her powers for anything other than traveling, completing small tasks in daily life when on a tight schedule, or occasionally playing with others (such as turning into a fennec to amuse Thriller.) At times, I might use her powers for comic value. When she is needed as an OP to prevent players from damaging the thread, she loses her sense of humanity. She's forced to play a role that strips away her compassion and love. Instead, she reverts back to what she is - a Chaos God that believes pleasure and pain are interchangeable; obliterating an entire species because of one trifling little shit is preferable to hundreds of years of warfare. She suffers overwhelming guilt afterwards, especially if she has to kill another character when in "god mode" or after destroying an entire species. Please, never put me in the position where I have to take off my player hat and put on an OP hat. I don't like doing it, I'm not comfortable with doing it, and I (as a player) feel badly afterwards.

She sometimes has a short fuse when it comes to people harming innocents. Her thoughts wander to various dimensions (the ultimate form of ADD) and sometimes she comes across as addle-brained because she really wasn't paying attention to the person yammering at her.

Swith is paranoid for no reason. She won't even sleep out in the open unless she's alone (or with her family.) She usually hides in a Payless Shoes shoebox tucked into the back of a closet when sleeping alone.

There are very few foods that Swith can digest and use for nutrients (everything else goes in and vanishes.) Her matrix limits her.

Swith loathes "cutesie". Not cute... she likes cute things. She's uncomfortable around people who hype up the cuteness factor (Chibis, Care Bears, My Little Pony, and silly Japanese schoolgirl players beware: she stems from 40K. Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne, Taxidermied Characters for Slaanesh's Party Boat.)

Her matrix houses a chaos god who chooses to remain in female form. Pleasure, excess and perfection (as well as hedonism, lust and pain) were once part of her mantra. She, along with her brother Ogoti, have slowly become disenchanted with the politics of their pantheon. She recently stumbled upon some things that gods of her pantheon term as "heresy" and her subsequent death and resurrection have left her feeling a bit of animosity towards some of them. Swith never hesitates to foster the desire in others to improve upon themselves. Freed from the shackles of her pantheon's severe nature, she has rediscovered the beauty of the universe. She still hosts nefarious and oft-hedonistic Zalgofests with Bones, however.

She was poised to walk away from the dimension due to depression and a sense of nothingness until Barox and Sapphire played a prank on her that blossomed into something more. (As in, I was going to snuff my character.) For the longest time, she was jealous of Naomi because Naomi knew inner-peace brought on by interacting with people in daily life. Swith always secluded herself because she strongly believed she was loathed for what she was. Although Bran showed her through his love that she was a vital individual who could benefit the world, she secretly believed she wasn't welcomed in the dimension.

The practical joke made her realize that there was someone out there who actually didn't give a fuck if she wasn't human. His ego and personality are larger than life and, for once, Swith could relax around another being. His attitude seemed (to her) to be: "You're a god. So what? I have a mech suit!" He was out to unite humanity. "Preposterous!" she thought. Yet... very doable. And noble. And hey, he has a nice ass. And a good heart. And a sense of humor. He didn't need a god. He was happy to have Swith as a friend. This mortal man captured her heart... it was only natural that she'd marry him.

Swith is happiest when she can forget she's a god. She discovered that being a wife and mother is more fulfilling than anything else in the universe. Swith is married to Cornelius Thriller, the Immortal Emperor of the Germanic Templars. They have two children (twins), Siduer and Sydney. She claims Superbia as a son and grants him rights within her pantheon.

His ego and personality are larger than life and, for once, Swith could relax around another being. His attitude seemed (to her) to be: "You're a god. So what? I have a mech suit!" He was out to unite humanity. "Preposterous!" she thought. Yet... very doable. And noble. And hey, he has a nice ass. And a good heart. And a sense of humor. He didn't need a god. He was happy to have Swith as a friend. This mortal man captured her heart... it was only natural that she'd marry him.

Swith is happiest when she can forget she's a god. She discovered that being a wife and mother is more fulfilling than anything else in the universe. Swith is married to Cornelius Thriller, the Immortal Emperor of the Germanic Templars. They have two children (twins), Siduer and Sydney. She claims Superbia as a son and grants him rights within her pantheon.

Swith enjoys puzzles and riddles, snuggling with her family, long walks on the beach, and trekking through the woods. She has a penchant for liver. Dissatisfied with her pantheon, Swith devoted her existence to anything and everything NOT relating to them and their inane way of thinking. She's rogue and seen by some of her brothers' avatars as a heretic for this reason. Swith, like Honey Badger, doesn't care.
