If your characters are those HGV men, then you don't have to worry much because he's going to jump them before trying to kill them.

Bad News;
If the HGV men aren't, they are going to die the minute Jakov gets them alone. :)

Difficult to get them alone considering they're regrouping with the hundreds of men besieging the parliament, though.
